The best radio is location dependant so you have to experiment and try out different ones and find out what is best for you. The Alltell radio in my sig is great for me.
now if they only had a DB of locations with best radio results, heh

And sometimes when i use the slider to answer a call, it slides all the way over, but it doesn't answer the call and everything freezes. I have to wait until the person hangs up, then i can call them back. I tried a reflash, and a hard reset. Didn't fix the problem. i flashed my wife's phone and her's has the same problem.
The dialer, or a related conflict, seems to be the culprit. Before I got a chance to see your post, I disabled as much stuff as I could after a hard reset and I wasn't able to crash it. I can't bring it down using the MS dialer at all unless I enable Tachi lol. Damn is the stock stuff snappy by the way.

I don't understand why it crashed on the new Sprint ROM though.

It really could be a number of things. I know I got this no signal thing on my phone because I installed a program, I used the wrong PIM for my contacts. Any number of little things can cause this. After you reflashed or hard reset...off back did it do this? If not I would suggest installing some programs little by little and seeing if you cant eliminate some programs that are not the issue to find the one that is. Hope that helps.
I normally use PIM backup for my PIM data, but for this testing, nothing custom was loaded by myself (incl. programs, settings, etc..). This was strictly after a hard reset, boot, customization, reboot, rock out. I ecourage you to try this to see if this is a more widespread issue or just my dumb luck (5 phones, 10+ roms, and 4 radios all being unlucky isn't very likely however):

1. Open dialer w/ green talk key
2. Dial your own number to reach voicemail box
3. While you see "Dialing.." on the screen, quickly tap the red END button.
(you may need to repeat a couple of times)

Does the dialer close but the call remain active? I always see 1x in the taskbar and the voicemail system prompts, yet I can't input any numbers or hang up the call. As you might imagine, this kinda sucks if you call someone by mistake and can't end the call.. at 2AM. Anyway, try to open the dialer again, and if the phone app crashed, you'll see the icon shown in my previous post. Sometimes the phone recovers from this (in 10-20sec), sometimes you can't do anything but a soft reset.

Not to sure of your frustrations, There are 5 there you are running one of them so I would think that you put one on your phone each day and see which one has worked the best for ya, that is the whole fun of it, you have to do some experimental work on your end. No one can tell you which ones going to be the best for your area. That why my good friend Winmonewbie shot you that link so you could play with it a bit, Well good luck.

Never understood why people have those hard reset issues.
Has to be a bad flash or something installed that isn't compatible.
Have installed just about everything at least once and never have I had my device hard reset out of no where.
Now that I say that watch mine do it. LOL

Correct. I've always done that with my previous PPC phones including the TP. for some reason with this Rom that doesn't work. I managed to get it to work using Sashimi and draging my PIM file into the restore folder and it worked just fine!!

Anyone familiar with GRemote?
Two issues. First is When I try to connect via Wifi it says Runtime Error. It works fine via USB and its not my firewall because I disabled it to make sure that wasn't the problem. second. Has anyone noticed that it makes the Start Bar Disappear?

Yeah i thought i was the only one having these problems. Been flashing for a few months now, and all the energys been good up untill the 9/6 build.

It seems like the standard energy has issues with mine...while the titanium only ones seem to be smooth running

the hard reset issuse i had on monday really pissed me off.

I have the same exact problem with the dialer and answering the phone. Though, I do not use Sprint radio. I have a lot of things installed, but so far, the only thing I can think of is the compatibility issue between this built and the dialer.
