i noticed that some people did some tweaks to their rom to gain battery life. I just flashed and was wondering what some people were doing to gain some valuable juice? Thanks

install lumos for a better backlight setting. run the wizard. it'll ask you to put your phone next to a light bulb then cover the light sensor then in regular sunlight. saved me huge battery. also check out the correct way to turn off data when idle. use
Start>Utilities>Tweaks>Registry Edit >hklm>Comm>ConnMgr>Planner>Settings
-Edit CacheTime to decimal value "60"
(without quotes)
-Edit SuspendResume to "58 00 00 00 33 00 99 00 88 39 00 58 00 39 00 29"
(without quotes)

thats the correct way to set automatic idle data disconnect after 1 minute and still be able to answer your calls if your data is on. theres a registry edit thread somewhere that i should give credit, im just really lazy to find it right now so credit goes to original poster =]

Love the ROM, long time MightyROM user (which is still a great ROM) but decided to flash over and see how 23016 runs and check out your customizations, and I must say, the ROM is the fastest one I've used yet.

Runs great, looks great, and I'll be sticking with this one for quite a while.

I understand that the title says 2.5, but the person who originally posted about this said that it had to be cooked in to work. Well as everyone knows, we run 2.1 not 2.5 which is why I asked.

That's what I assumed would be the case...just wanted to be sure. ...my band is heavily influenced by the classics.

Yea..."check off" in dude speak I guess means...check it. I'll change the wording in the instructions. You want this option enabled to clear up your problem.

WEATHER STUFF:

When you set your city in World Clock [the clock on your home screen], as ahuskins mentioned, it will correctly display the Weather in the Calendar Day-View. Screen shots attached.

This shouldn't have anything to do with the ROM.
