I flashed last nigth but in my case the problem calling my favorite contacts still if a try to call in lanscape mode and then back to portait mode and try to call again the icons with mobile or home dosen't work and I have to make a soft reset.

That SMS fix has nothing to do with this problem you have but anyway, I haven't seen this. I don't make calls in landscape mode so I can't comment on this. I'm not really sure what your saying really. Your saying that you make a call from landscape, then hang up? Then you try to make a call in portrait but won't work?

Yes, I never use lanscape mode but cheking about the landcape contatcs fix for 2.1 I found this problem.


New ROM uploading to the energyroms.com mirror with the latest fixes from yozgtgag for the People tab. No other changes Well.. the date picker in clocks and alarms is fixed for portrait... minor thing

Two quickies:

If your phone is locking up constantly or freezing at bootup, you need to flash back to STOCK then Energy. Hard reset...Flash to Stock...Hard Reset...Soft Reset...Flash to Energy...Hard Reset...Soft Reset.

It should clear up the problem. If you don't flash to stock then back, this problem could follow you to other ROMS...as it's not an issue with the ROM.

Problems with Tachi Dialer and the People Tab
Please keep up with the thread over at xda HERE about the 2.1 TouchFlo. Doing so will help you understand the current bugs you should expect to find and when a fix might be expected - like all of the Landscape bugs. Energy didn't port 2.1, he just cooked it into his ROM. I don't think the Tachi Dialer ever worked in landscape mode.

Here's the developers "progress" spreadsheet for reference:

Are you using the latest 8/9 version? Do you have to relock when flashing back to stock? I have never had an issue like this before and I have flashed probably 50 times to different roms. I never flash back to stock in between....all i do is pull the battery and hard reset and that has worked so far. I don't understand why this issue would start now.

I agree with you and I advertised yesterday about Energy it's the best Rom and the actually bugs 2.1 it's the problem.

But with Refried with the new fix for 2.1 People Tab in lanscape mode I had more conflicts after trying to make a call from People tab in landscape mode and if I try again to make a call from People tab in Portait mode my favorite contacts dosen't work again.
Last nigth NRGZ cooked for us a new Rom with the fix but I am trying for many hours and testing the new Rom with this fix and the problem still.

Firstr off great rom! The only problem I seem to have is the battery icon always shows 100% for me at top. When I plug it in to charge the charge icon appears and is blinking but when I take it off the charger the charge icon stays on but is not blinking. It goes away with a reset but the battery icon comes back up and displays 100%.

Ive read the first and last 50 or so pages and couldnt find anyone else having this problem...any takers? I'm using an alltel Touch Pro. Thanks in advance

make sure this Reg key:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\security\ResOver\Bitmaps]

indicates this:
"BaseDll"="phcanOverbmp.dll"

and not:
"alltelphcanOverbmp.dll"
