I just close the phone and the call screen comes up immediately. Dont know if the Landscape People tab fix will help this as I havent installed the fix myself. Will install later tonight.

Tap and hold screen till menu pops up with Make Selection.Tap that and you should be able to highlight and copy. Goes for txt too.
