can someone tell me how to make my data connection faster? I believe my connection would be better if I installed the newest dcd carrier cab, but if I do that it will change from Ev to Ra. That would be find except when it does that it screws up my battery indicator icon (in previous releases). Is there any way to fix this?

I have an Alltel TP on Verizon now...

I cannot open MMS picture messages....I installed the arcsoft mms thing for alltel, no go.

I've quickly tried all three 28004 roms and have been impressed. One issue: when I change the ringer to and from vibrate I get a "MannerMode Title" Notification. Anyone else able to duplicate this? I didn't have this problem in 28002.

You cant do it from manila.... you have to go to start>Internet>Messaging> and click the picture ICon

"all messages" from the sms tab works too lol

but yes this SIM CARD MISSING error in htc messenging on manila 2.1 is not fixed by the cab in this forum. anyone have any other ideas

I have seen this, but not every time. I've also seen this "bug" when a call is coming in...the slide to answer buttons may be shifted below the screen. In those cases I use the physical keys to answer and end the call.

This work around doesn't help if you need access to the keypad though.

I don't know of a "fix", but know it should not be a problem in the next release.

This is still a problem on the new builds. I've tried both on my TP and that cut off seems to happen often. Also, the ringers aren't very loud, but at least they work. SMS seems to be broken on CDMA TP's, as I get a SIM card missing error on both newer builds. I tried installing a SMS fix cab that's floating around here, but that didn't solve the problem even with a soft reset. Not sure how to make it work. I have to use the WinMo sms vs the Sense SMS app to be able to send anything. Let met clarify that that is using the 2.1 Standard builds, not the 2.5. I'd like to use 2.5, but can't seem to figure out if the Landscape has been fixed yet. I guess I'll install it and see.
