observation: running 14nov09 23081/ 2.5 normal sms/mms routine, installed remove picturemail & arcsoft <SR> install zenyee disable HTC messing <sr> install JD arcsoft 5.2.1.22 not in sence when I tap the sms I get a quick flash and nothing happens neither the htc app or the WM app; can still got to all msges and get the WM app. anyone else see this?

Question: I uninstalled NRG's quick menu and installed 2.8 that I think Root posted originally, but still not seeing a more finger friendly gui options, where should I be looking?

I know where the app is it just looks more/less the same as the default one. I am running 2.8.414.1614 is there some config option I am missing ?

Wow your in KC as well? Which store so I can avoid it since my screen is acting strange from time to time. Have thought about trying for a TP2 when I take my phone in. A friend is a tech at the Lees Summit store. Just waiting for the TP2 to be widely available in the stores before I do anything about my screen since it's not that bad yet, it cuts out 3 times out of 10. It's like a strobe light dance party on my screen.

its the new store in p&l, just off main, on 14th. and, my screen was screwed. was running the nov 5 build, was fine, but today started getting wonky. flashed back to stock, still wonky, so i relocked and took it back. i'da rather had a tp2, but, the tp is a fine phone. i could have upgraded, but i don't want to go back into contract right now, not with the hd2 just around the corner, and probably won't be with sprint.


completely unrelated to that story, but definitely related to the ROM. seems like now the SMS doesn't have a way out of it by default. once i'm in threaded SMS, the only way i can get out is to slide the stupid thing out to the left (over the contact icon) before i can get a 'back' option. inside the thread i only have 'send' and 'menu' :/ home key doesn't work. back key doesn't work. end key doesn't work. kinda effed....

I think that is so that we can have a send key when in landscape typing on the hardware keyboard.

i am sorry if this has been posted but i am having problems keeping up with this awsome thread. i am still unpacking into our new house. but incase anyone was wondering 11-14 version have ezinput v2.0 and not v2.1 so all hardware keyboard problems should be resolved.
