There is a task manager in '081 with a long press of the send key, dont know if it was there in '071.

I've actually been using '071 since it was release a few days ago. I experienced one lockup while texting. I did the "Threefaces" recommented arcsoft MMS installation and it hasn't happened again. In fact I haven't had one freeze or lockup since. Not sure what I'm doing but '071 seems to work fine for me. One thing, is that I am very light on the extra applications. I have maybe 5 programs installed...

Heres that badboyaudiofix that someone asked a page back or 2. That and the audiopara version also. Plus I figured I throw in the audio fix if its too loud.

Wow really wish I didn't listen to you !! Broke my data connection and the phone wouldn't work at all, now back on a stock rom and I at least have basic phone working again.. hours later. Following all the threads here left me with nothing, guess I am calling Sprint in the morning

Yeah man, I am ready for it. From what I have read around, it's something tech support can walk me through. I just don't know my username/pw combo to enter in ##3282# menu, if I had it I'd be golden.

As far as I know, there is a tool that 'provisions' your phone (so you dont need to know these values)... If you are using sprint there is a cab that allows you to update your data profile (this means that it will pull this data on its own)...

Run that, then go to Start > Settings > System > Update Profile and let it run. It should fix your problem. GL

NOTE: Do not run update PRL yet, wait until after you get your data connection. Update PRL will download an update and then reset your radio. It uses your current data connection so if it is damaged it could pull a bad file and the results could be bad.

Thank you sir.. will try it out. Was just searching for the "update profile" cab actually, you saved me.

Ran the update, it said, no update was available Sigh.. read something that the acct can get locked out, I'll turn the phone off for an hour and try again
