Yeah, same here, not as much but still happens.. Only other problem, Im seeing is Resco Contact Manager dosent want to finish downloading users, Root, did you get a chance to check it out on your device?

Two questions:

1. I cannot get GPS working on this ROM. I have tried all the QPST tweaks and various other tweaks, none have worked. However NFSFANs ROM build 114 it would work.

2. How can i get the "mark all as read" to work in my email along with MMS picture message available.

Here is what I have found to be true.
Most SMS problems come from a bad flash.
Be it flashing to custom without flashing to stock first or maybe a PC/USB/Device mis-sync or whatever.

Now here is the thing I have found to be true at least for me.
If you have a bad flash and have problems from the beginning then a hard reset will almost never fix it.
It will require a stock flash and then back to custom.

Reason is if you have a bad flash then those messed up files will be installed right back after a hard reset.

Try a stock flash then maybe even a hard reset then flash back to NRG.
I usually skip the hard resets and never have an issue but if you are then try that.

Did you try the ppst 2.01 cab? if not,
1) run cab
2) go to \Windows
3) run file, PPST (it will reset device)
4) dial *228, send (will reset when done)
5) enjoy gps

I have installed the "dcd Alltel Carrier 20090831.cab" and it makes my battery life waaaaaay better, it switches my signal icon to Ra instead of Ev which is more accurate for CDMA from what I am told. Since there is no Ra icon for the taskbar in this rom it reverts to the stock white icon.

Not a big issue the speaker icon is also stock white, the bigger problem is that my battery icon does not move from 100%...

I was getting ready to try this after I flashed the 10/22 ROM. I'll keep it in mind if the problem crops up again. However, after flashing that ROM my GPS is somehow still working.

Flashed Stock: GPS worked
Flashed 0920: GPS worked (WTH )
Flashed 1022: GPS still working (WTH again)

Never did a HR between flashes. Google started at my current location after flashes 2 & 3. You just gotta love M$ programming.

BTW, what is the PPST cab anyway?

The OP indicated it's in \Windows. I found it also in the EXE for my stock VZW ROM.
