Thank you for the updated ROM. I was running the (Sept 6th?) ROM and was ready to give up (lots of little things ticking me off). I found the updated ROM, installed, and am pleasantly surprised to see almost all things that were bothering me, fixed.

Kidding I'm here for the usual daily festivities! No one knows for sure except for the ROM God himself, when the new release is gonna hit the shelf. We know we are getting AN update sometime SOON. BUT we have no clue what it is gonna be called or what manila we are lookin at.............

Sashimi is great, Threefaces has links to the Sashimi thread in his guide (near the bottom). I'm at a seminar this weekend so I'll check in later. Hope the reset helped you.

Edit: Just to clarify, I dont know if the other PIM back up caused your issues. It sounds like all of your data wasn't cleared from the previous ROM. So if the hard reset didnt help you could be looking at a reflash. Lemme know, post or PM

Are you by chance running PIMPed?
Did you install another version of Album?
It runs better for me without PIMP and with NRG stock album.

SMS UNREAD ISSUES

If you're experiencing the unread sms issue, could you try the following to see if it'll help:

Go to the Text Tab
Click "All Messages"
Click at the top where it says "Inbox" [the drop down]
That drop down shoul;d now display all of your messaging folders
Click through each folder and try to clear out anything marked as unread
When you're finished, soft reset.

Does that help? If not there may be a way to trick the device by changing the reg edits...I'd need ot look those up, so try the above method first...and lemme know.

EDIT: the folder list is for ALL of your email accounts [sms and picture mail are also there]. Make sure you check all of your accounts, even the email ones to make sure you're clearing out everything.

I've had an issue pop up twice this weekend. Came back to the phone after having it on charger overnight and it's locked up tight as a drum. All 4 buttons and the ring were lit up. Had to soft reset. Any ideas?
