Hey guys. Just downloading the Dec 21 build. I am thinking of doing the switch to gmail to manage all my accounts. is following the gmail mobile link the best way to set it up of has NRG built in some fancy setup app? I am referring to this link (http://mail.google.com/support/bin/a...n&answer=78886)

Second Question for NRGZ28 or some other knowledgable person.. does this build have the regedit built in for people on Bell who are having time delay issue with respect to SMS time.. ie. I receive a text at 9am but on my phone it says 1pm. there is a fix.
the registy fix is this
HKLM\Software\OEM\SMS
Add the following DWORD value (or change it but on my phone, I had to create it) :
Name: RecvTimeStamp
DWORD Data: 1
Base: Dec

is there a way in sashimi to add this in to my auto settings?

I have a very minor bug...my SMS tab said I had 1 new SMS...so I read it, and it still says there's a new SMS...I've even tried deleting all SMS's, soft resetting the phone...I can't seem to clear it. Any time I get new messages, the counter is 1 higher than the amount of messages...anybody know how to fix it? I'm not sure how to clear it, I don't want to hard reset for something so simple.

It's the December 21st sense 2.1 21885 build, and when I touch the icon bar at the top, the thing that opens says "no new notifications"...just the icon in TF3D has a 1 on it.

I've been using Activesync for my Gmail and Google Calendar and Contact for a few weeks now. Works great!!!!

I'm also having great luck with google activesync...makes gmail work properly too, before, on any rom, gmail would always send 2 of the same e-mail whenever I sent from my phone. Activesync gmail fixed that finally.

with respect to adding items to my registry via SASHIMI, in my auto\reg folder i created the following .reg file
ts.reg
within it i did this
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\OEM\SMS]
"RecvTimeStamp"=dword:00000001

is that equal to me going in manually every time and doing this?

So has anyone else been having problems with mobile device center? I flashed to the 12/17 28014 with 2.5 ROM, and since then have not been able to sync. Every time I try, the mobile device center freezes on my computer. I've tried on 2 different computers and it freezes in the same spot. I've tried going back to the 28011, which worked before, and stock sprint ROMs, but the same thing keeps happening. Any ideas?

I tried the registry edit from the second link first, and it worked until a soft reset, which brought the problem right back...so I figured something else was causing it...I ran the program, it said it fixed it, I soft reset again, and TF3D came up with 1 notification again, so I figured "maybe I got a message while it was booting"...I didn't...so I checked the registry, and it said 0...then TF3D seemed fine....so I just soft reset again, and now it seems ok...I hope it works out, I really don't want to hard reset, everything else works great, and since I don't know how to cook my own rom, I have some stuff installed after I loaded this one, and I have my tabs configured and all that...

Working fine in XP (work) and windows 7 64 bit (home) for me.

yeah, I have win 7 64bit, and it was working great, but just suddenly stopped. I don't know if it's the ROM, or the phone in general considering it is now happening with all of the ROMs I'm trying. Thanks for the help.
