Re: [ ROM ] [ KITCHEN ] JUICY 8 - Build 090627 (21820.5.0.40) [UC]

Opera is still preloading and now even if i change all the preload and bootlaunch registry setting, opera cannot be killed, so now you can just watch the battery meter drain superfast.... The grey backgrounds are annoying and now for some reason wktask launcher will not stay up. Now I wish I backed up my last install of juicy because I was loving it but wanted to flash for better battery. Today I got 1 hour in call and 3.5 hours with no calls and medium use, where in the same environment and config I was up to 8-12 hours with groove and Calc, but their notification systems are terrible whereas Juicy has his rhodium notification working the best i have seen yet. I really dont understand why finger friendly reliable notifications dont take a very high priority around here, especially since these devices are focused mainly on business....

Re: [ ROM ] [ KITCHEN ] JUICY 8 - Build 090627 (21820.5.0.40) [UC]

This is the first time I've flashed a ROM I haven't cooked for quite some time, except DCD base 6.5's I began updating the SYS, ROM, and OEMS in this kitchen, then saw that J-47 made a little post about an update! so I abandonded that! I have to try this ROM! So far, seems pretty decent from what prev posts have stated cept for minor bugs w/fixes.
Updated: flashed rom..... TF3d-2 is smooth, that means alot to me!! it seems when i sync my system through WMDC, tf3d-2 slows down on rotation badly, has not happened yet on Juicy47's new rom, but it's syncing now, disabled mymobiler....possible culprit. if anyone has encountered this mysterious rotation lag, plz let me know. (it's as of recent even w/o alltabsbg installed as well)
To add my few cents to the negative blather earlier in this forum.....I am really upset to see it. This site is a place to be innovative and creative, not negative and dramatic. I encourage some to THINK before they post. This ROM definately seems professional, and I may have to stick with it if all goes well since I possibly have a new job coming up. I love the calendar tab in TF3d2. Thanks for your hard work Juicy!!

EDIT:
aaarrrghh@!@!!! it's happening again, terrible lag during and after sync email, contacts, calendar, and tasks +notes too. Takes awhile to switch between landscape and portrait. This has been ongoing. Not sure if it's something on my system or what. Was just headed out the door, hopefully it's an easy fix....

Thanks! but shouldnt have to search for something 800 posts back in a 5 thousand post thread for an issue that was easily fixed, groove updated his tsk files a week ago, of course he apparently wont share them...

If you want the toggle to stick then toggle it and then switch to the number/symbol mode and back to abc mode and the toggle will now stay. Weird bug. But thats the work around for now.
