I swear, I've tried to delete the Opera9.exe from hkcu\software\htc\bootlauncher\apps and it hasn't worked, but I'll try both that and the PreLoadRes.exe folder and see if that helps

Nope, it's still there. Still sits in memory

you can disable auto-rotation by editing hkcu\software\htc\htcsensor\gsensor and autorotate to 0.

or you can just go to the settings tab, select gsensor, and turn it off from there.

Yup, I soft reset after removing those entries from the registry, then opened up DotFred's Task Manager to check.

Which entries exactly did you remove?

definitely worked for me. The process no longer shows up in task manager

Gsensor did not have a rotate option, only calibrate, but the registry key was there, so thanks a bunch for the key.

Did you disable PushPages like I had mentioned? That would probably restart Opera.

yeah, i disable pushpages as a part of m sd config. even disable the service.
