Re: [ ROM ] [ KITCHEN ] JUICY 8 - Build 090723 (21828.5.0.60) [UC]

So this is my first time venturing into the 6.5 ROMs.
So far, two things made my day-

-Live Mesh finally works for my Touch Pro!

-Epocrates, a vital medical program, actually updates with this ROM (many have said this was impossible and stuck with 6.1 ROMS like me)

Thanks!!!

Ok thanks, didn't realize you ever could choose a different number on the people tab... must be what the second button is supposed to be for. No big deal to me...

This didn't work either, I'm having the same issue as Psyki...

Anyone else with this problem and have a fix too?

I have searched around ppc for issues on MorphGear and the other roms but they do not seem to work.
-Thanks
PocketNesterPlus is the best EMU I've used but its only for NES games. You also need kTouch to map the hardware keyboard. Also works great with TV out and hold phone like paddle.

Also do the 6.1 roms run any quicker and use less battery?
Yeah, my phone hovers around 47-50% once I install all my stuff. "HTC Addicts Clean Ram V 1.6" does a good job at keeping system memory low. Check it out if you haven't yet. My battery usually last an entire day depending on how much I've used it. GPS will drain it quickly as will email pushing and lots of internet surfing. You could also think about switching out your radio as that sometimes helps with battery life as well. I think Juicy's rom is one of the fastest, if not the fastest custom rom out there right now. Battery consumption is dependant on so many things, it's hard to say exactly. Have you tried a reflash? Often times a reflash with help with little quirks and sometimes battery life. Not sure why though.

*Edit*
I reflashed last night and hadn't noticed till just now that even with all my customizing, system memory is sittin pretty at about 38-39%.
