The easiest way to tell if a rom has TOUCHFLO cooked in with 6.5 is to swing the menu's around.

With 6.5 u can literally pull the start menu off the screen and see its "elasticity"

with touchflo enabled u only allows you to pull a real small bit.

2 other minor differences between 6.1 and 6.5 that i didn't realize how much I like:

1) In calendar, I used to be able to select a time slot and start typing to create a new appointment. Now I have to select menu->new appointment.

2) With the new soft key menu in 6.5, it doesn't display greyed out menu options correctly. For example, in Live Search (not included in default rom), the "check for upgrade" option is bold even when there is no upgrade.

Not sure if that is what you mean, but I noticed a sometimes annoying behavior. If you swipe the stylus to select a portion of text on the screen, sometimes the gesture makes the screen to roll sideways to the next tab, for example.

At the Phone Options, where you define your voicemail number, if you select the default number (your own number) from right to left, you will be sent to the next tab (Services).

It should be able to differentiate finger/stylus gestures...

my phone is workign fine. and i dont mind the symbol texts for the 1st text, im keeping this untill a big update comes.

I installed the Update PRL / Profile CAB today that I have from my old Stock Sprint ROM and whenever I run an Update PRL it gets stuck on "updating" as others have mentioned. I'm using MR5 04.21.09r.

I've been searching for a fix for this and have not found one. It worked fine with MR 4.16, but has anyone who had an issue with Update PRL on MR5 found a fix?

Edit: I just did a hard reset, installed the Update PRL / Profile CAB and still have the same problem.

lol well im pretty pro at flashing and installing all the apps i want now. so i may.. but the new updated rom just fixs the text glitch, and i can care less about it...
