Yes he did but it was still using the <21000 build. I believe the new notification system will only show the new popups automatically on 21000+ builds.... I think. I could be wrong tho.

I did install the Sprint MMS Arcsoft 5.0.70.24 file since this is in my SDConfig. This worked fine on Merdin's ROMs. Does this not work on Mighty Mikes? If so what can I use for MMS? And please don't say use Sprint PictureMail That thing never worked right even on a Stock Sprint ROM.

Hmm.. not sure about 5.0.70.24, but I would recommend upgrading Arcsoft to the latest version. I recently upgraded Arcsoft to 5.0.82.79. Found here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=61802 You will need to uninstall your version and run the Remove PictureMail & Arcsoft.cab as well.

I just tested a text message to myself from gmail using messaging.sprintpcs.com and I get the notification, can see it in both the TF3D list and the SMS inbox.

One other thing I wanted to mention. Did you hard reset after flashing 4.16? I didnt used to do that but started to a few versions ago and am experiencing far less *bugs*. Course thats probably because Mike rocks and these ROMS are awesome!

Question been using 4.14 successfully for about a week now but I get one notification error.. any idea why? Or how to determine what is trying to run?

I also am having the same issue. I don't get any notification (I checked and the setting is still on). However, mine does show up in the messaging section. When I double tap the message, it doesn't bring up the conversation window. When I click on all messages, the previous conversations aren't there. So I'll create a new message, and it creates a conversation. However, when I get a response from that person, it doesn't show up in the conversation window, only on the message list, and it still won't tell me I have a new message (i.e. the green number doesn't pop up, nor does a sound play). And yes, I did a hard flash after.

BTW, I just realized this is my first post so I wanted to thank Mike, Rico, and whoever else works on this. Honestly, it makes it actually worth it to own a Touch Pro.

Oh I don't know, other than me wanting to run Mighty's rom on it. It could also be we are a community here and I was just airing a grievance, possibly just for a sympathetic comment. Thanks for the helpful comment though.
