Also, just now, I dialed ##DEBUG# and started entering that password - it dialed someone from my recent calls list then wouldn't let me hang up!! I had to soft reset my phone. By the way I did hard reset after installing this rom.
I've had similiar issues. Accidentally called someone, it wouldn't hang up, had to soft-reset, etc.

What would get most veteran users upset is stuff like "what's up with this rom." You probably didn't pay for it, so we are borrowing someone else's work, knowledge, etc. It's not perfect, i'll totally admit it. I'm surprised some of the issue weren't caught, but they might not have been issues to those that tested...AND, so many people have cabs that they would die for, and many times that's what breaks this mess. For your problems though, i think it's a simple 6.5 issue. We all have them. For now, we just need to live with it, and let the chefs keep working. they'll get it...

Re: [July 7th, 2009] MightyROM6 -- www.MightyROM.com

Maybe all these 6.5 ROMS should come with a 'No *****ing Allowed' clause...

Of course every problem I have had thus far, by reading I have been able to resolve, with 1 exception - TitaniumRadar - It give s me that lovely 'Big White X' on the 'Red Button' icon...the rest of Titanium works wonderfully after using the fix a few pages back...help? anyone?

With that said - if that's the only thing that doesn't work, this has been one of the most PLEASANT roms that I have worked with in my 1 1/2 years of being on the site.

Well Done Mighty Mike - I hope we can look forward to many more future releases of this quality!

I actually don't have a problem waiting for the right rom. But how in the world am I supposed to tell? I've had pretty good luck with MR5 and I figured MR6 was going to bring me nothing but joy. That is what I get for getting my hopes up. And not that this has anything to do with MM, but aren't we supposed to be using the 6.5 RTM? Wasn't that going to fix all/most of our problems?

This TP is my first smart phone but I have had it for a few months now and I actually consider myself to be a power user. I'm the guy who laughs at other people who install a million cabs and break basic features - it doesn't happen to me because I know what I am doing. Here's the part where everyone can tune out but if you care: I am a BS EE and currently spending part of my week as my company's IT guy. But this has me so baked that I can't help but come off like an ungrateful newb, apparently. It is out of character for me and yes, I do need to relax. You know what a part of it is though? Mike's decision to strip the SIP. I predicted that when *I* tried a MR with this new omission that I would end up having some problem because baked in + tested by MM = it works. Leave it up to users to get lucky and install the right version of something that MAY or MAY NOT work with X, Y and Z, and you get chaos. I believe part of my current frustration is caused by this effect.

I mostly agree. The only reason I tried MR5 is because I was so irritated by WM6.1's lack of finger friendliness. I was happy with both MR5s that I tried, for the record. But none of 6.5's issues have been cured by MR6 and I have been led to believe that some have. Scratching my head here...

to be honest, i've never gotten the radar to work. Just forget it and just use the Weather portion. if you want radar, go to a nicely done mobile weather site. just my thoughts.

Re: [July 7th, 2009] MightyROM6 -- www.MightyROM.com

I don't have time to reply line by line. I would consider myself a "Power User" as well, and if i had time, i would have 5,000 posts by now. Regardless, i do agree with most of what you said. At this point, i'd say a) stay with the thread, stay with mr6 and be part of the group that helps Mike and continues making it right (this is the first version of mr6 by the way), or b) go back to 6.1 or another ROM.

I hate to be that short, but pretty much that's what it comes down to.

I appreciate your feedback.
