Those ringtones are included in the new rhodium manila, because after installing it that was what my text message tone was set to(something like, excuse me boss, you have a new text message!)...i guess reinstall the new manila and then see what ringtone it is set to and copy it out of the windows folder. I assume that should work.

How is everyone using the improved 'notifications' ?? I am not seeing any difference at all...

I get the notification screen, but like others the notification messages are still the same at the bottom of the screen. My question is this: does this cab only enable the new notification screen and not the improved notifications? If it does, I installed the cab and enabled notification popups but as others have stated the classic ones still appear.

I use manual send/receive with my email accounts, and it's very inconvenient that i now have to scroll down to see the send/receive option. Can I re-order that menu in the account options?

If I understand what you are asking, it is part of Voice Command. I know there is an option to have it announce and even read Email Subjects and Text Messages to you over your headset/handfree or through the speaker. Check out Voice Command's options under START->Settings and see if this is what you are remembering.

I have 2 questions. 1) I can't seem to set any custom sound files as the text notification. I can set whatever I want for the ringtone, but not the text. Originally i tried a .mp3, which i assume didn't work because it wasn't .wav, but i just used that AT&T voice thing mentioned above, and even placed that .wav in \windows\rings

2) Regardless of how hard i tried, i can't add MY 2 hometowns (college and home) to the weather tab. I tried weathermaster, but that got some kind of error. I looked into it more and found something about using weather database editor on the sprint phones. However, whenever i try to open it after it's installed, it just says "File write protection of database could't removed." couldn't even give me a full sentence for an error :-p

any help would be greatly appreciated!

+1 to this. I've read a few people complaining about this in other threads. Does anyone know how to change the order?

Also, this same thing is present in other apps (google maps, for example). The "use gps" option is a scroll down, rather than on the main menu.

I'm also not fond of the font size in text messaging. I can't even see who the message is from because I only see 3 or 4 letters of their name. I would much rather prefer a smaller font in all of my accounts to aid in visibility.

1. you have to put them in the windows folder, not the rings.
2. are you using the modified one? I attached it for you.
