JUST WANT TO SAY AWESOME ROM

just got home from work and noticed 15ish new pages so just finished reading through them lol and noticed some people wanting to change start icon, well im using a color Vista orb i included a screenshot of how mine looks, if anyone is interested in this just send me a PM and ill send you my shellres.192 with the modified one(:

Not sure about that. I have the same problem although mine is perhaps caused by my using Windows 7 instead of Vista. When I setup ICS to use USB & Data the phone will connect and then immediately disconnect. I'm using WMWIFIRouter in the meantime but I'd much rather tether via USB.

Prior to using Mikes 4.15 I was using the stock rom with a tethering hack that did leave an option to select SPRINT instead of Phone As Modem.

No, you can disregard win7 as the source of your problems. I use win7 and I have seen a few others that do so as well and have had no problems with ICS.

If anyone is having problems with Start Menu icon on this rom, let me know. I figured out how to do it. For some reason, mine never changed with the adding of any taskbar, it remained the black and white windows logo.

Your customized start icons should be;

shellres.192.dll.0409.mui

You can also extract the files from the taskbar cab file, rename the shellres.192.dll to shellres.192.dll.0409.mui and put it back in the cab file. I did this and whenever I install the taskbar cab file, it changes the start icon as well w/o having to manually do everything in the linked to post.

I'm going to continue using sMMS, I still haven't found anything better
