I have a problem ever since Ive flashed Mightyrom 5 I have never recieved the great battery life that people or even a good one. I go from 100 to 60 percent within maybe talkn on the phone for 20 mins and browsing/texting for like 15 mins and the phone gets hot. I have always done about 3 hard resets right after flashing but no matter what my battery life is terrible. I dont have ne neupower drivers because i heard those make your battery drain more. so i am wondering what am i doing different from others because if it wasnt for the fact i had two spare batts and i can charge my phone @ work i would b S.O.L. i only hav installed mightyrom themes slappahoe red menu & Ra, keyboard speed increase, no curtains, background on all pages, adv config(which i also hav used to disable data connection after 10 secs),smms,sprint picmail, oz instant messnger,skyfire, fingerkeybd2.1, andmighty callhistroy+calendar..

Another problem is besides the dialers clashing..when i press the talk phone button or slide to answer it sometime answer other times the slide is all the way to the left n green but its not answering even when i press the talk button..does neone hv ne help bcuz besdes the fact it ignores my boss calls it ignores my girls call Alot so she be wondering whhats takin 2 long to answr or why im callin back

I had to read your post like 3 times because i'm not up on the "text spelling" lingo that people are doing these days.

Anyways, no way to say for certain about your battery. What you listed as your use should not bring it down that bad. Is it a combination of cabs you installed? Normally that is the case. It's either that, or you have a bad battery.

As far as answering the calls, i have run into that issue alot as well. Sometimes you slide it and it works, other times it doesn't. I have seen this almost with every ROM, even occassionally with the "stable 6.1 roms".

I'm sure it will continue to be fixed as later builds are released.

oh sorry about the text lingo. Its a habit I dont even think I remember proper english anymore. Well thanks for letting me know I am not the only one with the dialer issue. As far as the battery goes I have three batteries altogether from replacement phones and they all pretty much seem to last the same. so it might just be the combination of cabs but I do not have the slightest clue of which...

I agree...probably hard to figure out. Next time you update to a new ROM or hard reset, just run it stock for a few days and see how the battery is before you start dumping cabs into it. Also, if you just flashed to MR5, it takes several "battery cycles" (maybe 1-2 days) to benefit from the full memory of the battery. Just remember that as well.

Here I am usually one of the ones that tell people to back off, hold their horses, or have patience, and I find myself waiting anxiously on MR6. I know Mike was shooting for July 1, so I'll guess we'll just have to wait and see around 8-9pm one of these nights, Mike will come out with a "who's ready for mr6" post.

I made it the the 14page of this thread and did not come across the question so before I go any further using the search function that works correctly when if I do a good rain dance.

Can someone por favor reply to me with the link for the camera fix I loaded this rom and the camera dont work it's black and then it says error acquiring data from camera.

Also how the heck do I stop the dial #777 I did the MLS code update and I am still getting this dam error

What is the date on the mightyrom you flashed? I'm not aware of these problems nor have I seen any talk about it. There was a camera problem a while back on an older version, but not on any recent ones.

I just did a search and the camera going black problem was on the may 8th release and was fixed on may 9th. Here is the hotfix. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...ostcount=12490
Are you sure you didn't get the new rom mixed up with the old may 8th release? You can click on Start-Settings-System-Device Information to see which release is on your phone.
