Yup I have the same issue. Reflashed, redownloaded couple times and still it does the same. However the battery is not being drained so I'd assume it's just a false reading.

Same issue here - maybe somone wants to install a custom taskbar and see if dada still stays on?

anyone using alltel as the carrier... im having major difficulty with the phone now.. i dont know its the rom or what.Keyboard will work everyonce and awhile, and it lags horribly, also.. i can't do picture messaging anymore on roms... i know that verizon is trying to do its transition but in my opnion that shouldn't affect keyboard lag and usage.. but idk.. anyone with thoughts would be greatly apperciated.

Data IS NOT staying connected.

I've reverted to the STOCK 6.5 signal icon, in which it doesn't show data idle status.

I can assure you, your data is not constantly active.

So don't worry!

Thanks Mike, wasn't sure since the last version gives indication of the data activity

Can't believe the stock 6.5 removed the indication like previous versions. What I REALLY like to have is the data activities arrows on Blackberries and G1, they actually shows you what type of activity (Rx or Tx) is active rather than WM just either on or off.

For those who seem a BB should know what I'm talking about... wish WM has the same ability though.

I wanna flash this bad, but the may8th one is so perfect on this that I dont wanna mess with such a wonderful thing. Still Mr5 so Im staying, point being, since the may 8th was so awesome, im sure the 24th update is just as good or not better. I like the 8th one so well im not flashing again.lol thanks mike, over 2 weeks on this rom and still never had to soft reset due to the rom great work again.

what reg change do i need to do to keep data active while the phone is in suspend mode? i think the problem to WMP stopping while playing in suspend is because i'm usin the data connection to stream live radio through the internet connection. i realized that the data cuts off after a certain amount of time when the phone is in suspend mode. please let me know or pm me. thanks

Use Diamond Tweak and scroll down to 6. Data to change your settings as desired
