why are you trying to download such an old version?

Download the latest version as well as the hotfix and go from there.

thanks for the response, but I downloading the latest ROM available. During the flash process to the most current ROM is when I am getting the 244 error.

Then your device is not unlocked.

Please read the sticky threads to unlock your device before flashing.

I already had that unchecked. I thought that might be the issue, but it must not be. I also soft reseted afterwards just to make sure.

Could there be a regedit I can do to disable it?

Isn't the April 25th release the last 6.5 release? I figured the latest release wasn't using the 6.5 interface....?? 21501 vs current release???

I am sure that it was unlocked from before. To just make sure, I went threw the unlocking process once again. It said that it was successful. I tried flashing from
5_04.25.09 to Mighty5_05.08.09. It starts the flash process, goes into the boot loader and starts the flash. Then again after 1%, it stops gives the 244 error (invalid device ID) and the phone restarts and the flashing is stopped.

Nope you couldn't be more wrong.

Mighty Rom 5 is Windows Phone 6.5 Only. Current Windows phone build 21222. Just read the first page of this thread ! The latest release is 5/8/09 in which you also need to download the hotfix.

Mighty Rom 4/R3Born is Windows Mobile 6.1 only. Latest release was 5/11/09

Your running a version of mighty rom that is TWO (2) versions old !!!
