great ROM, one thing that i got used to and seem to be missing from this rom is that the top power button on the phone does not invoke shutfxp but instead just gives you an option of regular shutdown(touch pro default), shutfxp is installed however(and shows up twice for some reason in the program list for me, anyone know how i can connect it to top power button on the device. Also Amazegps(love it use it all the time) the version included is an outdated beta, the new non beta 4.5 is available from their website though (www.amazegps.com)

nevermind found the way to remap power button to psShutFXP from here:http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=41598
Make Long_Power.Ink with shortcut to psShutFPX and put that file int windows directory - works like a charm!

it'd be cool if you could also set the default home screen alarm to open up g-alarm instead of the stock one

Mike, awesome. Thank you for your assistance. I will have to give your attached file a try after work tonight. This was a highly annoying issue, I'm glad a solution has been found! Thanks again for sharing. I'll post up my results..

New version of Arcsoft
Tsowens' new taskbar- (post 3 has the new version)
Adding more program icons
VCN Enterprise Viewer

BatteryMon
(I've used BatteryMon in the past with this ROM. I ended up un-installing it though, the one you include is fine, but it is nice.)

And here are a couple suggestions from me.
cleanRAM- new version
Persian Blue- a must have, bluetooth file sending manager
G-Trigger- the coolest app launcher ive ever seen, now supports more actions (new release today)
Nitrogen- really great mp3 player

These are just a few of the apps that I personally use and load onto this rom myself, so I thought I'd see what you think as well.


Bugs/Requests reported by users

• I think it's been decided to remove Omniano completely and leave it up to the user to install if desired.
• Broken shortcut for Action Screen. (softkey does work though)
• I think also the Rhodium Finger Menu's are also desired over the FingerMenu you currently use.
• Could the ABC mode be re enabled as the default instead of word complete when using the slide out keyboard?, it was starting to become a no landscape issue
• Palringo give an error that is in not a ppc program.
• Increase the MMS size limit to 4.9mb
• Worldcard Mobile is broken
• Start another thread for next version
  

And of course the TF3D 2, whenever you feel it is ready

Also, Mike posted the supposed fix for the text message issue, you might have already seen that by now.

Thank you for the list. This is a big help. I have a place to start working from. I plan to start hacking tonight. I tried all weekend but I got tied up at work. Please trying to cram stuff in before it is ready. Should have something in the next day or so.

Weird. Two issues recently.

1.) Tried to restore my texts from pimbackup (by first setting to non-threaded, restoring, and then setting back to threaded -- which worked last time around) but this time it didnt work. My texts were all out of order and stuff. It's like time and dates all messed up.

2.) after a week worth of messing with it, it started acting strange. Wouldn't answer calls. Froze up a lot. Finally just now it refused to turn on when i got a call. The LEDs flashed but it wouldnt turn on or answer. Soft reset. It turned on and froze on the HTC screen. Soft reset again. This time it came up at that dreaded "recalibrate your screen" tool. Then it asked me to verify time and date. Then it tried to do the initializations! I soft reset again before it could come up and it took me to a blank today screen. My files are intact and programs are working, but things are still screwey. I'm gonna back eveyrthing up and hard reset.

Anyone else experience anything like this?

And anyone else know of a program which will backup texts to a PC in readable format? I want the equivalent of an IM log. Having 8000 texts archived on my device seems to slow it down.

Yeah mine its wacked out now....keyboard quits onscreen gets frozen cant s2a....idk whats goin on but its freaken out lol
