Wow I loaded Juicy's latest with TF2 and everything works (including New SMS) except changing to custom ring tones. I honestly forgot how smooth TF3D is supposed to be, but I miss KK's apps too much.

This topic kinda got buried a while back and I'm just wondering if anyone has figured it out yet... How do I get TF to recognize I've read my SMS while I'm still in the thread itself. If I leave the thread up TF keeps all my messages as Unread. I'm sure KK is working on it in his next release but it's driving me nuts cuz thats how I use my SMS, its habit. Anyone got it figured out yet? Thanks!

It got buried cause Kevan answered it.

It has something to do with the SYS version that he's using in 1.7+. You need to exit the thread and re-enter each time till all new messages are "read". Alternatively, without exiting the thread, you can click on the senders name for each new message (bold) to select it, thereby marking it read.

Ok. It have been several weeks since I updated the ROM and I am going to start some work tonight. If someone has time can you go through the thread and make a list of issues, suggestions and new apps for me?

I reloaded the TP2 stuff again on my KK 1.8 ROM and this time it worked out just fine. First time around it was super laggy, this time around it is working quite smoothly. No real issues, except for the ones that have been noted before. Still, not as smooth as manila hd Tf3D, but smooth enough.

Not sure what the last comment you made is about. I have found that KK's TF3D HD is super fast and smooth. Just hope he will be able to get TF3D2 as smooth as he got HD to work.

Hi All
Tried the TP2 had some great stuff in it, however, I will just wait and see what 1.9 brings. Spent several hours undoing and getting my TP back to "normal" yesterday.

Here's a good one, is it possible to change the name (sprint) on the top curtain bar (to Darcy)?
Been lookin for this, I've seen it done but I'm evedently not smart enough to find it on my own.

*edit*Thanks to mr dilligaf for setting me up w/ the cab for this, and the no curtain(s) cabs

A couple thoughts..

May you skip to 2.0 beta, Add TP2 TF3D. Will more than likely require a newer sys.

Have someone in the thread own the update list (by editing a post after yours. I.E. You send the 411 out to everyone for the 2.0 or whatnot check point, the appointed person captures the updates in their message, they may even capture or gather the cabs.. Just a thought.

The could also help with the time commitment. I completely understand your time commitment, but if it was organized and setup, it could operate easier. My personal thoughts would be either housinit or GoodGets, they appear to have the most activity in the thread. Completely your call, I have tried 5 or 6 other ROMs and would have to say hands down, not even close this ROM is tops.

(prev post) also... kev... i was wondering if you can put audio gateway back in. i like it a lot, its a great way to have a bt mono music headset w/o spending $120 for the stereo. (great for work)... if its already in, I can't find it in the programs. or anything like that.

thats all the suggestions. other than minor neverminds. like putting oz im in the same folder as palringo and beejive. (mentioned that b4) more g-sensor games. not sure about wmwifirouter... probably don't really need it. is there a fix for the pandora issue yet? prolly not... just thought i'd ask. im using last fm now tho.

oh and how do i change the action button in the home page to phone? don't really want or need it...

someone asked about using 6.5... but i read something about not being allowed through xda... they actually got a c&d letter from microsoft and they posted it. also removing all roms from the ftp site that utilized 6.5... i guess. u shouldn't ... unless u want to. u do upload to a different site tho. idk.
