Re: [ 10-3 ][ v3 ][ 6.5.1 / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROMs
It sounds like you are talking about HTC Volume Control. It does not work with 6.5.1 releases and the hard volume keys. You can press on the vol. icon in the drop-down menu that is in 6.5.1 (like when you press on the clock in the taskbar, then press the volume icon, then you will get HTC Volume control). You can use HTC Volume Control with 6.1 and 6.5 releases.

Thanks, but everything is still freezing on my side when selecting a date. In fact, the problems happend just by accessing the calendar. If I access the calendar and hit cancel without selecting a date, it also freezes. The only thing that I noticed is that, when it is frozen, if I click on the start menu at the bottom, the list of programs that appear is clean and usable. When I did that before, everything was scrambled and unusable.

Re: [ 10-3 ][ v3 ][ 6.5.1 / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROMs
also, i heard calk say there wasn't much difference between the 420 and 060 line, but i think 420 is faster, but 060 has a great battery life in comparison. Yesterday, on 060 and a fresh flash, i had about 70 percent battery left after 10 hours. Last night i built the same rom but with 420, This morning on the way to work (hour drive) i made 1 10 minute phone call and normal email usage, my battery was down to 50 percent. I recharged, turned off the data connection, put in 1x mode, and the dam!! thing is already back down to 60 percent after 4 hours of doing nothing but sitting there with the screen off. I will flash back to 060 tonight and test it again tomorrow.
Just thought i would throw that out there! |

Nothing you can do about the RAM in the VZW TP but work around it. Or upgrade to the TP2 |

Hey Calk, just wanted to say thanks for the awesome kitchen!
I made a few fav programs into EXT's, Moduled a few things and picked an 18MB pp. I start off at 80MB in use at boot instead of near 100. It's faster too. Thanks for making your 23060 ROM so I had some place to start because I picked a bunch of the same options.
