Lucky man!! I am trying to find a fix that I could apply without cooking and reinstalling. I need my calendar working.

Re: [ 10-3 ][ v3 ][ 6.5.1 / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROMs

I am very curious as to how the Marketplace is going to act with cooked ROMs. Marketplace doesn't recognize that you already have apps installed, so it doesn't know to update them. Kind of annoying if you are on a custom rom with cooked in apps.

For example, if you use a rom that has Facebook and MyPhone cooked in, you're gonna have to re-install via the Marketplace to get updates and whatnot through the "My Applications" link in Marketplace.

Hopefully something can be figured out.

It kind of dissappoints me that for as long as WM has been out, nobody has developed an alternative App Store. Both the iPhone and Android have centralized app stores with all the apps. Kind of sad. oh well.

The lack of stocks widget is sad and is one of the main thing can't be done in MS as easily as with tf3d. I like both and I still don't know which one I will keep.

Cal,
Your new Kitchen streamline looks awsome! Curious though, most of what I see is either clean up or new versions replacements but since there was a lot of renaming here, are there new apps in the EXT to look for between 9/28 and 10/3 that I might have missed? This really looks tight! Thanks

The only new addition was the m6 Taskbar (which looks pretty nice by the way). If you go to post #1 he lists his changes.

yeah, I like the m6 too. The only reason I asked is because I couldn't find some things and others looked new. Since my post, I found what I was missing. I did read the change log but just wanted to make sure cause there were so many changes. It looks real nice! Thanks for the help

What I did on my was to delete the showcasesuite.lnk to remove the MS 3.5 Overlap but now i don't have the start button on the top. I ended up using the Send Key(Hold) to access the start

I want a calendar view big enough to see what's coming up, but I don't have that many appointments, so I don't want it taking up half my screen. I also shrank a lot of the other icons, so I have plenty of room at the bottom for more. Sadly, Calk's 6.5.1 roms cover the bottom buttons on SPB MS 3.5. Hopefully Calk's teaser screenshot means that he's got a 6.5.1 build that plays nice with Mobile Shell, but looking at it closely makes me think he's using one of the 6.5 61### builds. Maybe he's just adding MS3.5 to the kitchen.

has anybody found a fix for this? This is with any 6.5.1 SYS and not just calkulin's kitchen.

Would someone be so kind as to tell me what EXT in the kitchen will make the vol hard and soft keys show the original controller. The one that was a black background with the bars and 2 tabs?
