Did you cook in some custom EXT's?
What packages did you enable/disable that are not preselected when the kitchen first starts up?
Hope that gets you looking in the right place.

Any ringtone I select does this, all are installed from the kitchen, nothing new.

I have only one custom EXT package enabled right now, for my personalization (nothing related to the ringer that I can see).

Lots of changes from default install, but I guess I need to start going through those one by one...

Mainly wanted to confirm my suspicion that it's not a widespread problem.

ok guys im sorry i know its been discussed but i cant get it to work. i want to have the stock htc volume control on this calkulins rom. i read that im supposed to run the enable htc phone skin which i did 3 times and its not giving me it. what am i doing wrong?

Are you talking about the HTC volume slider that opens when you press either of the volume buttons?

It's apparently not compatible with 6.5.1 builds, so if you're using 23064 or 23071 based ROMs then it won't work. Not sure what the status is for future builds, but that's the deal for now as far as I know.

I don't have any complaints except for the standard wm 6.5.1 bugs. The ringtone not ringing once in a while, some legacy apps be misaligned, blah blah blah.

But the battery life on this ROM is AWSOME (at least for me). I am using this in combo w/ the 1.12.34F radio. I am actually lasting more than a day under normal use now. This includes some Opera, GPS, phone, SMS, and streaming for a bit, etc.

Well guys & gals, looks like my Diamond is dead

I dropped it over the weekend and it does not want to power on at all and since my company doesn't have insurance on it, I'm stuck without a phone now for a while. Oh well, I wanted to upgrade anyways but this is surely bad timing being the end of the month and all
