Hey guys, after searching about the TEXT/EMAIL Typing LAG/FREEZE, I found a thread dedicated to this issue, and someone actually found something that seems to work. I did it, and it seems to be typing MUCH Smoother again without the lag ... hopefully its a long term fix. Here is what I read and did.
GOTO Settings >> Connections >> Wireless Lan, open the power mode tab and move the slider to "best performance".

Not sure why the lag, when I dont even use or have WIFI on. but this has seemed to correct the issue. I just played around quickly typing a long email and I did not lag any.

im actually tttttyping this from my phone nnnnnnnnnnnnnnow .... obviously the above isnt a true fix hahaha ... it does make the lag issue better but the delette button still freezes and obviously as you see above letters stick some from time to time.

Hi!, I recently flashed this ROM on my phone and all I can say is that it is great, fast and stable, the only problem that I am having is that I am trying to Install Dcd's Cricket Carrier Cab 20081031 So that I can have Data connection and MMS, I went from my fresh ROM installation, I deleted all connections from System---->Connections Installed the CAB and installation is succesful but after a soft reset it goes back to what it was before and Cricket does not show up anywhere else. I have installed this same Carrier on Mighty's and some other ROMs and it works perfect?!? That is the only problem I have, besides that this ROM is excellent. Any tips?

Ohh and one more thing, Just an opinion, no offense!, I dont like the Splash Screens of the phone, I am probably going to change that with Advanced Config, just an opinion, somebody who does graphics should make one with an iphone really being basheddd or just something cool and simple. Simple fix for splash, just close your eyes while its booting.

Ok thanks guys for the feedback, only issue i find are true and not manila related in hear is the text and email lag issues, all others mention are either manila issues or not confirmed by others, also not sure about the dude having problems with cricket, make sure you deletd all of the connection files before installing the cab, there could be one hiding under the bed.

i guess this is a request for people using these roms......tell us what rom your using. simply saying im using the rom is a little vague. i think this will help people to solve any issues you might have.

remember there are three different roms that Merdin has put out so there will be different "issues" associated with each one.....

OK so I have reviewed several of the certificates and on 4 roms all running 6.5 with and without the rhodium. The other roms I have no problem getting sync to work OTA. The only difference I have found is that the WMPro 4.2 with Manila 2 has 4 Cingular certificates. I don't understand why this would matter, anyone please help! This is my favorite rom! But without OTA exchange server I have to default to v3.4 again.

I agree. I really don't like the splash screen either. I thought it was just me, but the rom as a whole is awesome. Great job.

This is a kick@$$ rom but I close my eyes EVERYTIME it boots , LOL.

like i said easiest fix lol, and also i will be working this week on some fixes and hopefully by this weekend i can have it all fixed.
