Heads up Merdin, there is a bug in your MMS messaging. Confirmed multiple times.

Otherwise, a great ROM!

guys. this has been discussed numerous times. there is a arcsoft for sprint cab file somewhere around here that needs to be installed for Merdin's roms.

if he's talking about the same situation that i always have, i'm thinking that perhaps you do have a bug in your rom? i was thinking that the arcsoft sprint cab floating around here was because you set the rom up to need it. now i'm not sure. i know it's been talked about quite abit. i also know that whether right, wrong on indifferent, no matter what version of your rom i install, i have to also install that arcsoft sprint cab to make the picture mail work. once i do that, everything is golden as far as picturemail goes.

i have added to file i'm using to my posting here (even though it's been posted many times before) so you can see what file i have been using.

On the 6.5 ROM, the boot error message, is this a file that can be deleted or we'll have to wait for Merdin to update/fix?

love the new rom great look manila 2
noticed 2 issues ,when trying to add a picture to the contact tab on manila it spins and shows a big red screen same thing happens about 50 percent of the time when trying to change the wallpaper of manila. Another one when you go into menu in the call history tab it sorta freezes on a grayed out screen and when you try and get out of it it grays out the whole manila tabs until you disable manila and reenable it.

Picture Text is working great with the above help! Thanks guys! I'm hoping NxtGenCowboy finds that Fix for the Text Messaging as stated above! That would be GREAT! Merdin, the ROM is Kick *** and Smooth, My only flaws at this point (that I know of) is the Text Messaging adding recipient (have had since 4.1 and 4.2) and of course the SLOW and Freezing of writing emails and textes (which someone says a hard reset fixed, I have to look into!

THANKS!

What exactly do I do with the files for the blue theme for the new manila 2? Do I just copy them over to the windows folder?

Wow talking about the picture mail again huh its like the circle of life.
I am having a lot of lag when switching from portrait to landscape. Is anyone else experiencing this? I kinda think it may have been something I installed but I did not have the problem in 4.1 and I have not installed anything different than I had on it.

Edit:Never mind it was my background image I changed it and no more lag.

TYPING LAG FIX
Hey guys, after searching about the TEXT/EMAIL Typing LAG/FREEZE, I found a thread dedicated to this issue, and someone actually found something that seems to work. I did it, and it seems to be typing MUCH Smoother again without the lag ... hopefully its a long term fix. Here is what I read and did.
GOTO Settings >> Connections >> Wireless Lan, open the power mode tab and move the slider to "best performance".

Not sure why the lag, when I dont even use or have WIFI on. but this has seemed to correct the issue. I just played around quickly typing a long email and I did not lag any.

Hope this helps.

There's a newer version of arcsoft for sprint (supports threaded mms) in the thread I referred to, but not all of merdin's rom users will be sprint so this really only affects the sprint users. I don't know what verizon etc. needs to make theirs work or what other cooks do for mms.
