Like the ROM but having one consistent problem while using it. Opera works fine for several days then for some odd reason it doesn’t want to open. At other times it will open – go to the website and then close down. Some times a Soft Reset fixes it and some time not. A Hard Reset fixes it always but only for several more days before acting up again.

What can be done to fix Opera?

Sauman....what branch? Noone uses language like sitrep but service men and women.

U should look for the version of Opera for the Touch HD in VGA. Working great for me on this ROM. I had the same issues...but helped myself with this fix.

How does one upgrade Opera?

Just get the cab of the version you want, send it over to the phone and run it.
It will install right over the old version.
Opera is pretty buggy with this newer style version.

I'm just using the one that comes with the rom for now.
I dont use it to much, so it doesnt' matter much to me.
The whole have to zoom in to click on a link thing irritates the bejesus out of me, so i hate using the mobile browser unless i have too.




On another note.
Does anyone here know how to stop the screen from shutting off while using internet sharing?
It kills the connection cause s2u2 comes on, but even if i disable s2u2 it still screws up the connection.

No branch... I'm only 16! But I tend to use military lingo when the situation comes up. I watch The Unit, 24, play America's Army, Battlefield 2, Crysis, CoD4, and more.

However, I may do Information Technology contracting for the USAF, but I have no preference on the branch as the work is the same in the IT department.

I was also thinking about IT for the CIA/FBI/NSA. I want to serve my country without putting my life in dangerous situations. I don't have half the bravery as the men and women like you that have served or are serving in the armed forces.
