eRice,

From what file(s) in the kitchen is the TF3D located?

I want to experiment with removing TF3D from the kitchen and cooking a rom without it but have been unsuccessful in locating any file large enough or named that could possibly house the TF3D files...

Also I was just wondering... why does the memory constantly say 204.45 as posted in your first post and does not change?

I have sprint. Could anybody give me the RIGHT link to unlock my TP.

manila ia composed of many individual files and a lot of them aren't named. you can find an OEM for manila and them delete the duplicates. that's really the only way to do it

can somebody help out me with this problem.
the screen stays at the touchpro splash after a splash, and i know erice posted that its suppose to stay for about a minute, but mine never changes, ive waited over 15 minutes.

you probably have a bad build and/or flash. rebuild a new rom and try flashing again

working on version 1.03.8. will have everything split from the base and should allow for sprint to be selectable

OK i figured out why my ROM wouldn't load, when i was hex editing the pagepool i put in the wrong number which prevented it from loading.

BUG: When in landscape view. Go to Phone. Then tap the screen to show the dial pad. Dial pad does not appear on first tap but it appears on the second try.

Plus, for some reason i swear i didn't install aim onto the rom but it's built in. Another thing, is that i tried to use my carbon cab for manila but it didn't do anything... your kitchen is dope, it faster than any custom rom out.. that i can put money on..

I have successful added ie 6 into your kitchen... i just need to change the page pool and remove all the stock stuff... care to show me the right direction. thanks

IE 6 was originally included in the kitchen, but i replaced it with the older version because it would also shows "Unknown Device" instead of Touch Pro.

it's not a ROM, for one.

two, this version includes the OzIM messenger app which install upon customization. the next release with have it optional in the kitchen so not everyone is forced to use it.

I sent a collection of xip that are all patched for the pagepool to work, so when he gets time, he will get updates out. once they are out the pagepool changer will work. So give him time and everything will be working.

There is an updated version of PIE6 and updated version of WML. both from 20954 system. WML is from 21000 aku 1.6.

Erice! I manage to get ie6 and youtube working together it's pretty DOPE! Man, your kitchen is super clean! I figure out how to change the pagepool to 32 too.. Do you know where i can remove the sprint manila, oz aim messenger...

great job with this so far, it seems to be exactly what i'm looking for (manila/tf3d with no programs included so i can cook my own).

I'm just confused -- you have a kitchen and a rom? Do I have to use your rom with your kitchen? Why did you make a kitchen when buildOS exists? sorry i'm new to ppc's/cooking/etc

He made a bare ROM so he gave the user to install the programs on there own. Some people don't know how to use the kitchen or some people don't want too... happy new year!!

Apparantly, he was the first. It may be one of the better options though since there doesn't seem to be much success with the TP builds using BuildOS. The Calkulin Kitchen seems to be getting a lot of praise though too. I haven't tried this kitchen (or Calkulin), but I have tried BuildOS. BuildOS is not functional in my opinion.

where can I get step by step instructions? 1st time trying to use kitchen apps and don't know if I have to unlock phone, hard reset etc...

I posted a VZW OEM folder on my site that is a direct replacement for the OEM folder int he kitchen. You will get all VZW branding and apps and working VZ Navigator.

I've actually skipped 20954 and am currently working on 21109. Either today or tomorrow I should have it ready to go.

Also, OZ will be split default as will manila
