you have to select xt9 and the ezinput SIP options to make it work. these were normally including in the ROM default, but after splitting them out, that's the only way i found to get it to work.

Found out that the AKU build I have in this kitchen version is the incorrect one. I can't remember where the AKU numbers I found came from but I guess they were wrong/hoax. I'll update to the correct AKU in my B release soon.

you would rebuild your ROM in the kitchen and place your phone into bootloader prior to flashing. where the RUU prompts you to connect to activesync is where you will actually connect the phone to the USB cable, when you have the tri-color screen up

its the number after 21109, such as 21109.x.x.x. Can't remember what it stands for. The current version was 21109.5.0.0 but that was incorrect, as it is apparently a bogus aku number. the real number should be 21109.1.6.0, which I am fixing and will update soon. also, the number does not affect performance at all.

erice, I am one of the people who have a Sprint TP on VZW. I was working with your kitchen but before I flash I wanted to ask you a few questions. I don't have the luxury of flashing over and over again because each time i flash i have to redo all my settings to make this phone work on VZW. First, do i still need to relpace your OEM folder with scrosler's? Or is this fixed now that Verizon is a carrier choice in the kitchen? Also, can I only select one Manilla? I know it says select one, but just wanted to check. Also, has the bug with .net CF3.5 been fixed. I didn't see it in the changelog. Thanks for your help. I look forward to flashing this thing for the first time with your new kitchen (1.03.09b) when its up.

For the OEM, since some of the hardware is different, I would probably advised to wait until scrosler can take a look at it and determine if the OEM pack needs to be replaced or not. I haven't tested with the VZW carrier, so in theory it should work, however I haven't tried it. It is actually Calcu's OEM, so you could try PMing him if the OEM will work or not.

For Manila, you can only check one, plus one clock and you must check the engine for it to work. I was also unaware of a .net 3.5 bug, but I am using the latest so I would assume it has been fixed?

1) Will 1.03.9b be release tonight? I just downloaded 1.03.9a and built a ROM. I don't want to start customizing though if you will be putting up the link to 1.03.9b soon.

2) On the ROM I just built, it did not go through the customizing step after the screen calibration and left me with the green theme. Is that normal/ok? What does that step do other than change to the black theme which I already did using settings->today?

3) If I re-build the ROM with 1.03.9b, is it possible to add my own Reg tweaks to be auto-applied somehow?

4) What is the Page-Pool size/type? Is it possible to change it using the page-pool changer or do I need to HEX edit?

5) Does anyone know where I can get cabs for the following missing apps?
a) ClearVue Presentation (works much better than Pocket PowerPoint)
b) World Card Mobile (love this app, been unable to find a working cab)

I'll upload the 1.03.9b kitchen tonight. As far as customizations, they don't run becuase everything is already installed that needs to be which is included in the carrier OEM, so yes it's okay.

For your reg tweaks, you can create OEMs that will add them to the rom, otherwise you'll have to apply them with a regedit program.

The pagepool is a default 0MB dynamic, but should be able to be changed either in hex edit or the pagepool changer.

for the carrier OEMS, it seems for some reason even though the files are physically present on the phone after flashing, the don't install despite the fact that a config_operator script is present. for the MMS, i'm pretty sure the CAB was put into the \Windows directory, where you can install it from. kind of a round about way of doing it, but i need to find out why it's working that way

With v1.03.9a:

- When using the Sprint Manila, the TV tab's "update now" doesn't seem to work in this release.

- "Update Profile" and "Update PRL" under Settings don't seem to work.

- TaskMgr.exe (which I really like for it's ease of use and convenience) was missing from SYS/Shell


I'm rebuilding with v1.03.9b right now...

EDIT: All of these problems also exist in v1.03.9b

also it would be nice if the oem for psshutxp would replace the defualt "are you sure?" question when the power button is pressed. Other than that I havent had to mess with too much.

spent all afternoon trying to get the htc volume, htc random access and task manager working (task and random access were easy, i just wanted grey highlight in the task manager not green)

but i think i finally got it

i still can't get the volume control to work, any ideas?

I am looking for the working volume control, update prl, and update profile to start working.

Also, I used a program to convert cabs to packages and it works fine. But on some of the packages (if selected in the kitchen), I get an error during rom build saying something along the lines \dum\setup.dll already exists or cannot build XXX.nv or something like that. Any ideas or recommendations?

ive had trouble with the volume control... the update prl/updateprofile are cooked into the rom, but aren't working right i beliebe you can find a sprint carrier cab and installed it... or if they really just do not work.

for the error, delete the file in the oem folder... not the one in the system folder

@ eRice Thanks for the Kitchen. I like it the best of what is out there but...

Some things that I have changed in my version of the kitchen:
psshutxp now replaces the power button if selected in the kitchen.
fixed prl/profile issue
added UC
added some apps
changed startup animation to sprint logo
added srs wow hd
also I got sprint tv working.
and I probably forgot some things.

If anyone is interested especially eRice I will upload it and share my work.

Things that I would like to fix but don't know how:
task manager. It should change colors with the theme that you are using and it doesnt.

delete the 2330fc3c in the manila that you selected. that file is in the manila engine and the manilas that you can choose, delete the one in you manilas you can choose
