10 min? you might have a bad flash. should only be a minute. i've run into that sometimes. rebuild and flash again.

as for manila, i haven't taken the time to split out the sprint version yet but that's on my list of todo's

oz IM is actually a cab file that installs on first boot, and can be easily removed. You can then you whatever oem you prfer, OZ or palringo.

When I include JetCet Print, I get this error from BuildOS:

"The file temp\dump\wt5autos.dll already exists."

Just letting you know. :)

read the readme in the .rar you need to open RaphaelKitchen and use the menu there. That program will launch BuildOS and after it builds and you close it, it will continue to create the ROM.

the readme explains it

Hmm, i thought i got all the dupes out. Jetset was tricky. You can get it to work, just have to delete all dupe files from anyplace other the JetCet OEM folder.
I'll have it fixedi n the next release

Thanks for the prompt reply electronicrice!

Another thing, I noticed it's defaulting to encrypt data on the external storage card. I'm not sure if this was done purposely, but it could be devastating to a user who didn't realize it and backed up important data there. Or maybe the box is erroneously checked, but it's not really enabled - because I see my copied files are still there after disabling it...

Hey i never did find that fix for the white flash that was a typo on my part still trying to resolve the issue. If i find anything i will update you. They're has to a fix because JD had the issue in his first rom and then fixed it in his next one. I tried asking him and I am currently waiting on a response.

eRice are you having that white flash on your start menu issue, is anyone else having this issue at all. I seem to be the only one trying to bring it up I would really like to resolve but no matter how many times I flash or what I leave out or put it in its still there.

eRice thanks for the excellent kitchen bro.

One question, do u intend to make the Sprint manilla optional ? I flip-flop between the sprint and htc manilla.

Just curious

yeah it seems to be an issue with enlarge start menu. If you disable ESM, then it goes away. I'm not too sure why it happens

Can I also request that you split out the Carrier dialer information and leave it blank. This will save a few steps for some of us.

You have to edit the config.txt file under OEM\ExtendedPKG, and remove the lines referencing the CABS you don't want.

I'm in the same situation; I'm trying to make a personal kitchen, using this as a reference, that's carrier independent / not carrier specific...

Oh ok lol im not efficient enough this stuff yet to do something like that on my own. I think I might just go back to a jugg or JD rom too much work. I still can't seem to fix the enlarged start bar problem, I have tried installing it over and older versions no dice and I can't go back to the little one.

i think your older kitchen had updated appls which i found worth to update but
your newer build has older appls totaly sucks there nothing like finding and installing newer oem application build for example jetcetprint, windows live,, voice command ,etc.,.,.:drunken:

Re: [11-29-08] eRice TP Kitchen v1.03.7 [SYS OS 5.2.20931 Build 20931.1.5.0]

@eRice: Thanks for a very easy to use ROM Kitchen for the TP. I had no issues cooking and flashing my phone with your kitchen, but I did run into an issue with the built-in Opera browser where it will not save a downloaded file. It will create the file, but not save its full content. Prior to using the Opera included in your kitchen, I would see a "download status" screen that shows the progress of my download(s), but that is not available anymore. Is there a specific "opera:config" switch that needs to be changed/saved to get downloads working for me? Thanks again.
