in trying to use your kitchen i keep coming up with the same error over and over again telling me its searching for dsm in the sprint manila folder...i know its there i put it in there with my own manila files but it still gives me the error...any word on this?

ok i dont even have sprint's manila as a choice in the buildos yet im still getting an error

Error, last status: "Processing:OEM\Manila - Sprint... Searching for dsm file"

Just uncheck it and add it to the dump folder before you close buildos. This way you can add any files you want and it will not check for errors just make sure you know what you are adding. After that, close buildos and it is business as usual.

Error: The file 'SprintTV' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of it's components cannot be found. I had to manually install it to get it to work.. Something a bit wrong with the rom?

Help I can not get Youtube to work.. it always says video error!

Ok the youtube does not work so don't cook it into the rom.. because after it has it can not be removed.. install it from the full cab version or YouTubePlay that does work.

but seems it embeds a geek? pic when phone starts up. can i erase or instead this pic at the bootup step?

Nobody seems to know why , at least I couldnt get an answer. You'll have to download Crosslers Kitchen and extract the OEM yourself.

any updates on WM6.5 builds with 21169 or later ROMs? Just curious if there is working going on for a good kitchen that includes 21169 or later base OS.

Hi i have verizon touch pro flashed to MetroPCS service and i did all the WAP settings and it worked twice then it stopped working idk why so does this rom work with metroPCS and is there anyway that this ROM can come with the metroPCS settings?


Please help cuz i really need my internet and pic msgs to be working

21042 kitchen is up. the ppcgeeks ftp was being a little flakey so if it's still not working for downloads, i'll upload it to rapidshare as well

yeah for whatever reason the ppcgeeks ftp is being a complete piece...i can't find a file hosting site that will let me upload it without having to sign up for a bunch of crap. i'll keep searching

erice try sendspace.com they allow i believe up to 300mb upload for free.

seems fast. push is working. FYI: looks like the sprint clock didnt work with HD manila. might try TP2. Any thoughts? Also, seemed that we had the Diamond Tweak option before. I dont see it this time around. May not be a big deal though.

I've noticed the build is pretty quick compared to others I've used. The Diamond Tweak was an OEM that i didn't include but you can find it in Calculin's kitchen I'm sure

Yup I have TP2 beta, manila tp2 engine, and a clock ticked still no go.

OK I'm so close to having almost perfect ROM for my use. I have taken a .CAB and created an OEM from it with Package Creator 5.4, MSCEInfen. This seems to work and I can copy the created dir to the kitchen and cook in. This is GREAT, but one more BIG thing, How do I include Reg settings for that program that I want. I can export the Reg key to a RGU file, but then I'm stumped. Much thanks if some1 can help me.

Why is Google Maps always run after a hard reset and not really cooked into the rom? I have seen this on allmost all roms that I have played with. why not convert to OEM and cook into the rom?

that's odd, it shouldn't. The google maps I have in the kitchen is definitely already an OEM and doesn't install as a CAB

You dont have a residual SDConfig setup with GoogleMaps installed on your SD card do you?

i too am getting this error with the tp2 minila... iv tried a few combos and iv decided that the best way to use it is select none of the manila options and install it by the cab files from the tp2 port thread... it seams like a great build and faster then the last kitchen with the tp2 port added in after a hard reset... thanks erice for your time with getting this updated build

looks like i didn't include all of the necessary OEMs required for TP2 Manila. For now, you can scrounge for the correct OEMs or just continue to install via CAB

I got the TP2 to cook in just fine. I encountered the error that you guys had though. My problem was solve by install the xbmod policy cab that is in the package. After that and a soft reset, TP2 Manila fired right up and has been working just fine ever since. I do not have that menu though. I will try the start menu cab and see if that works.

Anyone having issues with the SIP menu crashing ? I'm pretty sure it is the way I cooked in touchpal.

one bug for sure that im checking on how it came about now... after full tp2 port install and arcsoft im getting a problem in the text to input... it pulls up the contacts on the botten and on top if you just start to enter in the name there instead of hitting enter to go to the contact list... will report back once i fin dthe root of this


****edit**** it does it with nothing installed... i backed up my contacts with pib and then go to a new test and when you enter the contact by name in the "to" field it pulls up the contacts there and at the bottom... if you select the contact at the top it shows the name but at send it only has a "1" in that feild,same with selecting at bottom list.... only thing to do to get around it is hit insert contact and add it/them from the contact list....

is this some thing that can be fixed erice? so far this is the only bug iv come across from this kitchen

does this kitchen have the rhodium notification enhancement or do I have to install that cab afterward? if I do have to install by cab do I have to do anything special...just cooked a rom and want to try it out..

Here you go! This is a pretty much CLEAN kitchen for the HTC Touch Pro. The kitchen includes a lot of the programs that shipped with the phone turned into OEM packages and gives users the ability to add their own custom OEMs to cook in so they stick after a hard reset.

Also, if you find any bugs, PLEASE post in here so I am aware of them and can try to fix them. I'll also be working on porting newer builds and creating optional stock OEMs.


Note: The screen will hang at the main "Touch Pro" splash for a minute and then continue on.
