Re: ElectronicRice's Stock Raphael Kitchen 19965 Released - 1.03.2a

After cooking the rom and flashing it I've noticed interesting thing - the font that is being used for Software Input Panel, the HTC volume meter and Status panel looks like Courier New, instead of what I usually see with stock or other roms - aka Tahoma-ish. Where do I fix that so that it has normal-ish font? :)

I have an issue setting up hotmail. On the stock ROM the email app let me add hotmail to me device to be downloaded. on this ROM the setup wizard just gives me a link to access hm through my browser, and will not add it to my email tab.

i don't know what to tell you about that. i've never been successful on adding hotmail thru outlook. I've only ever been able to used windows live to set it up and have that import it.

Re: eRice Touch Pro Kitchen 20757 - 1.03.4 - UP NOW

I'm really enjoying this rom, so thanks. I am having one problem though, in the programs tab of TF3D, I have 19 shortcut slots, which makes it a bit odd (2 sets of 9, then one all by its lonesome). Has anyone else experienced this? It was like this immediately after first boot, and I haven't changed TF3D at all.

On an somewhat related side note, is there any particular reason that searching for 3-letter words is prohibited? MSL? HTC? numbers? I imagine these are things searched for quite frequently...

Any updates to the ROM/Kitchen comin soon?

Re: eRice Touch Pro Kitchen 20757 - 1.03.4 - UP NOW

So, I had the rom for a few days and I've liked it quite a bit (thanks again), but I ran into another bit of a problem. This one, slightly more significant than having an extra program shortcut, involves a loss of data connectivity. When attempting to do anything that would involve my lovely sero unlimited data, it would prompt for a username and password.

I talked with sprint customer support for a while, and regardless of what we put in to EPST, what we configured and how many times we ran "Update Profile" within the settings area, I was getting prompted for my username and password.

Even manually entering the information provided by sprint, I could not connect successfully.

Ultimately, the sprint tech (3rd level at this point) decided a "Hard Reset" was necessary. I took this as a "put the sprint stock dump back on".

Putting the stock dump back on made the data start working again. Any one have any idea why this is so?

When did you do this? Sprint had some text/data issues over the weekend (at least in my area).

Sunday is when it happened, and when talking to sprint tech support, they didn't know of any outages. It's funny that you mention it though, I was unable to send texts in downtown Detroit on Saturday night, so perhaps it wasn't my phone / this rom. On the other hand, Upon flashing the stock rom, data started working again and it no longer prompted for a username / password.

Re: [11-03-08] eRice TP Kitchen v1.03.4 [SYS OS 5.2.20757 Build 20757.1.4.0]

I'm in the Detroit area as well. Calling customer service on Saturday night gave me a recording that said they were aware of the text outage.

On my phone, I was also prompted for a username and password for a data connection on Saturday. I initially thought it was a problem with the ROM until I found out about the outage. I changed nothing on my phone, and everything was working fine by Sunday.

IMO, this ROM is the most stable, and I've customized the heck out of it (lots of my own OEMs in the kitchen). The PPCKitchen and Nue ROMs both had annoying issues.

So I've come back to this rom, and I'm not having data problems anymore. One thing I noticed though, is that in file explorer, I can no longer select multiple files by holding then dragging. Does anyone know a way to remedy this?

Thanks, and thanks to you mr. rice

Hey trying to replace the gsm manilla with a the sprint manilla, I added the oem to the oem folder but when building the rom I get an error. I believe the error happens because either the sprint manilla is trying to replace the gsm which I want or something along those lines any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I thought that was an issue with all 2xxxx builds, you can't do it with the stylus so it was selected in the menu instead. From my understanding it was just changed how you did it, so it's not a glitch. I could be mistaken though

I think just the manilla when I tried to add like manilla modifier oem's it wouldn't work. thats my only issue other wise this kitchen is perfect for my needs lol. Even without the manilla I'll be good though. On another note how long is the touch pro splash supposed to be there its been like 10 mins for me
