Does anyone know how to keep jbed from asking for permission for every internet connection? The version in this (2.1) rom asks for permission a lot. I've used other version that don't.

When I figured out how to turn most of the stuff off, it has become quite usable and nice. In fact, the speed of this ROM is the best that I have seen, especially considering I'm using 2.5. The lag that was in the EnergyROM just isn't in this one.

Quick question for anybody: I'm having issues with the Facebook integration. Why don't the Facebook pictures sync with the Outlook contact pic? They only seem to sync with the Sense contact pic. 2.1 worked just fine in this regard. Also, some of my contacts aren't syncing the pictures at all. These all seem to be contacts that had pictures in Outlook (from Sense 2.1) prior to flashing. Is there a fix for this?

I'll give it a try. What the worst it could do?

Edit: It doesn't seem to detect the jbed burned in the rom. I'm installing a new version of jbed to see what happens.

Edit: The JavaAuthorizer recognized the new install folder but then I was having problems with that copy of JBed. So, I updated the registry entries (HKLM/Software/Apps/Esmertec Java/Properties/File.baseDir and File.rootdir) to point to the OTB jbed. Then the JavaAuthorizer picked it up and made the gmail app trusted!

New version of Facebook has been extracted for our touchscreens. The official v1.2 is only for non-touchscreens. But xda has a cab for us.

It's a great site with TONS of bleeding edge development.
I didnt post the cab so users could get the full 411 and the developer would get the props.

hello everyone!

so I have been flashing for maybe 6 or 8 months, started with omnia/verizon and now moved to touch pro/alltel

I have tried alot of roms thus far with the touch pro and have finally found maxdust so far to be the best for me. My biggest issue was mms with alltel, even with the 4 step fix many of the roms just dont want to take it. This was the first one to take the fix right out the door and start flying. Thanx! I will be updating my profile and begin looking into cooking so expect to see more of me here.

Now to my question: This rom included a sprint extras cab which my curiosity got the best of me so I ran it. Now every boot it wants to connect to Sprint for ???? and of course it can't. Can someone please point me the right direction to remove this? It is not in my remove programs list, unless it happens to be yzyn 6_1_and_6_5_21xxx. I don't know what program this is but I don't think it's the sprint extras, and everything else in there is accounted for.

EDIT: I should probably make clear that everything functions normally and I am connecting to Alltel, this program just is trying to authenticate my phone to I am guessing a Sprint server for some "Sprint Extras" or something? Anyway it is annoying because I have to cancel it or wait for it to fail every time I boot.....

You could just hard reset to remove it and start fresh.
