Re: [ROM] SKI-ROM v4.0 Build 122109 CE OS 5.2.28011 M2.5 - Sashimi Compliant

Not saying you were blaming the ROM, just wanted to say that. My Location This feature is very quirky across many ROMs, some users (me) have awesome results and some dont. Did Montreal ever come up for you in the past? Since the feature is largely based on tower communication, a new radio and/or updating your PRL may help. Also you could try the suggestion in this post http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...&postcount=110 Clock It's not an error, just a quirk of the port, use this cab, should do the trick http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/attachment...1&d=1258095753 Device Info Pretty sure ahuskins is aware and is something that is well established, not just on this ROM

It is prolly my ghey apps that I have installed but I ran an Application(devhealth.exe) that breaks down the memory. You'll notice that the PagePool is @ 0 which is dynamic.
The total memory usage from this sample = 153MB which leaves right under 50MB free. Code:

I did the flash dance and I flashed the Telus radio that I found in the radio thread. Comments were good so I tried it. Else I could try the Sprint one that also receive great comments. What exactly does the PRL and how I update it? Quote:
OK, that's not a big issue. It was just to report it. If I can fix my location problem, I will be more than happy!! |

That problem is a common problem of the ol TP1. Dead physical keyboards are no new thing brother........BUT lucky for you if your unit is less than 1yr old.....Sprint is/was giving TP2 as replacement for faulty tp1.....but they always seem to come up with a batch of refurbs as well so don't get too excited...... I had two units replaced due to Kb that acted just like yours. Flash dance back to shipped stock ROM and see if it clears it up. If so(doubtful) do the dance back to this ROM and see if it comes back. Make sure you do a flash dance (HR,flash to stock, hr, flash to SKI-ROM, hr, then hit it with a SR after she is all through for good measure). Normaly not a required jig for every flash, but when real quirky issues pop up that no one or only a couple are noticing, a flash dance is the best way to clear the system and start fresh and find where the problem is. I would bet a call to Sprint or whoever is in store for ya though... Good Luck Bro! Merry holiday season!

Preferred Roaming List Lets your phone know the latest towers in your area. Not sure about Telus but while on Stock ROM look for a update PRL icon/program (Sprint does this). If not call customer service and request one manually, again I can do this with Sprint. Good Luck. |
