hey RootLinux the menu enhancement issue is back! any of the secondary menu's like the ones in the upper right corner of marketplace are messed up. not sure if anyone mentioned it, but its back! lol


the phone will freeze for a shot period, & then the menu comes up black & unusable

i'm using the latest 5/26 whiteroot

1. Load 4/3 WhiteRoot (flashdance of course - NOTE: it's possibly ANY Rootrom w/Sense 2.5 would work!)

3. Install morbidj's taskbar signal fix (for CDMA)
4. Install Christian.a's portrait clock fix -- Christian - can you fix Landscape also?
5. Install CHT Editor 1.7.1.1
6. (optionally) Install Christian.a's skinned goodness
(I did this all through SASHIMI - The GTX theme really needs a .auto file though)

Don't forget clocks or more clocks! Also, any flip-clock for Sense 2.5 will work too!

Christian.a - I don't seem to have the appointment problem you had. Stays on both the agenda view and home tab no problems. VolumeX even works with the appointment for silencing the ringer.

Thanks Root for such a stable ROM! Trying to milk this $300 as far as it can go

sorry friend but I am not having any luck fixing landscape taskbar. It may have something to do with the porting. I've tried a 2mm background and making the left border grey but it would still overlap in landscape mode. I have to try looking into the shellres file to see if it controls icon spacing but they could take some time.

Flames look 10X better on the device. I also installed Jaguaralani's sun mod-it rocks.
All this is preliminary-will run with the ROM all day and see how she does but it's great as usual right out of the gate. =D>

Menus *appear* to be fine on the rootROM tester. I checked Marketplace and it was ok, gimme another example to check just in case, maybe that'll give root some info to go on.

For the video MMS issue I'm guessing it's either the HTC Album version or the Arcsoft MMS version currently being used.
Currently on the rootROM tester the Inbox for Messaging says "Text Messages" when it usually says "SMS/MMS", dont think that matters but just mentioning it.
Pics send fine but I can not send/recieve video. When I play a video and stop it I do not have the option to send it. In the past after stopping the video a sub-menu would come up allowing you to send but now it just closes out to Sense. After recording a video and trying to send it I get the "You cannot send this file in a pic message" error.

root Bro-investimagate that and let us know what you think...

So you dont want a hidden slider? Then go into CHT Editor> Miscellaneous Settings and de-select Retract Slider.
