I would love a 21xxx version. I love the start menu on 28xxx versions, but I hate having to bring up the task manager in order to close a program because the "X" button doesn't do anything but minimize. If that gets straightened out, I'd be happy with one of the later builds. Maybe a 21xxx Sense 2.1 with Dusk. Is that possible? And the threaded email too.

This new ROM is giving me so much trouble, I might abandon it. I am having a real bad time loading it in. I flashed to stock, cleared storage. Flashed this ROM, getting missing links errors and stuff. So I decided to clear storage again on this ROM, now 10 minutes later it is still loading the settings. I should have waited till I got home from work. I am just hopeing to get it running again while I am at work. I need the phone.
P.S. I think I found some of the problem. When I was restoring the email, I hit the reset in the process. That didn't work too well. So I cleared the storage and that took forever. So it said it was comlete, but the bar wasn't all the way to the end, close but not to the end. I reset the divice and it seemed to have worked. I used sprite to restore my email and let it run it's course. So far everything is working. I will sync with outlook when I get home. Last edited by Oditius; 01-12-2010 at 10:41 AM. |

Re: [ROM] ROOTROM - SMS/MMS - Sashimi Compliant - ALL Carriers inc USCC - Jan 8 09
Been using the new build (0111 with max) for a few hours this morning. Dialer was fine last night but after sitting the night it is displaying incorrectly again. It acts like it is trying for full screen resolution but not resizing for the task and menu bars. WM adds a scroll bar to the side but moving it has no effect. This is on the in-call screen only and the dialpad seems proper. Also when hitting the "phone" button from home screen it takes about 4-7 seconds to pop up the dialer. My work around for this was to install IconSoft PhonEX (v2.2). Seems to work seamlessly with this rom and you can disable their contact manager.
No other issues at all after a few soft resets. Fastest of the combo max roms yet! I can live with the dialer issue for a while as long as I can find a black skin for PhonEX :P My compliments to the chef! namopereht |
