Re: [5-5-11][ROM] gingerbread-evo-deck [1.1][Release]

Hey guys is there a way to:

1) Adjust the flash speed of the LED notification lights on the RIGHT side of the earpiece? (The green or amber ones)
--Or--
2) Use the original LEDs on the LEFT side of the earpiece?

I love the use of the new LED but it flashes at a slower rate than the original ones and I keep missing that I have notifications.

--EDIT-- I tried Lightflow and it doesn't work...

I can guarantee you restored a sense based dialer. Might even just be the data, hut that's the problem... it didn't affect you till reboot since the application can't be written over while in use (the phone dialer is always active even if you force close it will reopen...thus the FC persistancy)..
you can wipe reflash or maayyyyybe ADB push the .apk from the original zip

from what i've read, the left LED's green and Orange cannot be utilized per some LED modification apps. i've played with the color adjustment in handcent sms and was only able to produce that muttled green 4G LED. I was able to adjust the speed though.

maybe we're currently limited to LED fiddling due to gingerbread?

Light Flow, wasn't able to do much (dont' even think it works)
BLN, doesn't look compatible with the EVO from the description
Blink, don't use, i think it broke my notification LED's.

with 2.2 froyo handcent was able to adjust blink time of LED, with 2.3.4 gingerbread it cannot.

possibly gingerbread is using new API's for LED notifications.

****
within advanced system settings i was able to trigger right side 4G green, and standard 2.2 froyo amber. you can force set any application to use whatever color through this menu. doesn't seem that we can control blink time though.

MMS works fine for some but not others I guess. I would suggest clearing cache on your mms program and search the web for a fix that has you deleting a file in data/app folder... It worked for me once before but then so did just clearing cache. and reboot.

sounds like you need to split your messages:

I'm not sure what you are referring to in regards to battery life, because I have had the best battery life on Deck's compared to all other ROM's GB or not. I think most here can attest to that. I would recommend using the Tiamat kernel 3.3.7. Good Luck.

Re: [5-5-11][ROM] gingerbread-evo-deck [1.1][Release]

Have some questions, (please don't flame me if it has been answered)
1) has the 9016 text been fixed?
2) I am currently setting up everything on the phone, i would hate to have to loose it, would upgrading to 1.2 be a complete install or new one?
3) does anyone else phone reboots with the 4g auto on?
4) if i wanted to unroot would it be hard? my h-boot is .97 (or something like that)
