Re: [6-1-11][ROM] gingerbread-evo-deck [1.0][2.3.3 Stable][1.2t][2.3.4 Beta]

I just tried to install the Tiamat 3.3.7 or the 4.0.3 on this 't' release. I seem to get hung on the reboot with the 'android' screen. Anyone else getting this problem? Note, I installed the kernel after booting up initially with the stock cm7 kernel, but I should be able to do that, no?

For some reason, Tiamat does not play nice with my phone. Everytime I install any Tiamat kernel it boots fine but when I reboot it gets hung up on the white evo screen. I used savaged-zen kernel 2.2.0 and all those kernels have worked fine for me.

You could wipe cache and Dalvik and try re-flash it see if that works

I tried wiping, but that didn't work, so I guess maybe I'm in the same boat as you, and I have to go with the savage zen. I'm staying w/ the cm7 kernel for now - if battery life is good enough, I'll stick w/ it.

How is battery life w/ your savage zen 2.2?

With the stock battery, i usually get 12-18 hours on one charge, that's with a few applications refreshing every other 20 minutes and some widgets up. The battery really doesn't go down while I'm listening to the stock music player while driving. Went to my friend's house that takes about 15 mins to get there, battery was still at the same place when I left my house. I guess it just depends on what you use.

I you sure you downloaded the Tiamat kernel for EVO? Many users accidentally download the wrong kernel, including myself.

Yes, I'm sure, b/c I just had it on my SD card, and I've used those same ones before with previous releases of Deck's sweet rom.

I think it has to do with google talk with video working on 2.3.4 and not on 2.3.3.
