I hate you too so I see that our 4G coverage out here in superplex of Dallas Ft Wort isn't the biggest baddest or fastest anyone else have any issues with this new rom while running a theme. got a bunch of forceclose issues when trying to go through my contacts.

Well the recovery flash was to get you from clockwork to amon. You took care of that with ROM Manager. Then you flashed amon again with the img file. I don't think that is playing a role at this point, just summarizing.
Can you get into recovery? If so I'd wipe everything. Then flash OMJ v1.7 ROM1-should still be linked on Post 1 or 2. This was a major update and will replace everything. It's in the PC36IMG format, put it on your card then boot into bootloader and the should be read and flared, just follow the prompts.

OR.......

Like rich pointed out, the OS loaded and ran for a bit then crashed. My *guess* would be a bad SD card, despite the reformat. Do you have another card you could try, even temporarily? If that's it you could flash every ROM available and it may not make a difference. That seems to be the common denominator as you have tried different ROM versions.
Those would be my two best *guesses*. Let us know how it goes.

I have everything exactly the same as shown in OMJ's latest screenshot showing Software Information, except I have PRI 1.34. How can I get PRI 1.40? Does it even matter?

yes i can get into recovery mode. ok well ill try v1.7. if that fails can i just remove everything unroot then install stock rom and take this to sprint?


i even tried without a memory card still crashes. i have another one ill give that one a go i hope it works. ugh idk nothing is working unless i am doing something wrong

I had this happen to me yesterday as well. It happened when I was at work. I don't get the greatest signal there so that could be it. I stopped them all and went one by one. It took time but they got downloaded. Once I left work my signal was up and all was well.

this happens to me with full signal, on wifi or on 3g which means happens anytime...its getting really annoying having to download from marketplace and manually install the apps instead of them self installing.

Got a buddy of mine who never Root his phone. So he's got the update to 2.2. Stock OTA... He brought up a question to me which left me wondering if it can be possible?.. can he flash OMJ v1.7 and then go flash OMJ v2.1 or latest Froyo Rom? Is that possible?.... poor guy saw everything I had on my phone and wanted it.... .. I just laughed...
