Every seems to run just fine, so far. I didn't bother loading the radio upgrade. The only bug I've run into is a weird issue when playing audio files from Astro. The clips start for a few seconds, and then the player goes blank. It continues for a little bit, but then it stops, and the clips play normally again. I don't know if this is a Froyo+Astro issue, or what.

Dont know when you checked last but it looks like Post #1 has been updated with a flashable zip.
I used the flashable zip in POST #10

*********PRI 1.40 ROAMING FIX***********************

This may not effect everyone that got the 1.40 PRI update or you just didnt notice yet but there is an issue for some with making calls while roaming after doing the update.
The solution will require you to call Sprint. Dont bother with entry level tech support-they dont have a clue IMO. Go right to Tier 2 *EDIT*-number removed. (LOL They gave me a bad #, perfect! Just tell Teir 1 that you want Tier 2/Advanced Support)

If this is an issue for you then tell them you got a PRI update and now cant make calls while roaming. I'm sure they'll know what to do but just in case they need to "refresh all devices" and "push data" to your phone.
They will need to do this with your battery out so dont call them on your Evo
Once my battery was back in it worked instantly-I know because I had done the VZW PRL Hack (that's where I found the fix) before I called them.

Simply taking your battery out for two minutes then reinstalling MAY do it but it didnt work for me.

Hmm interesting, I'm not sure if I have that issue being I'm in nyc there's service every where I go lol, anyway I can force roam? Once a month I go upstate NY and I roam up there and I need my phone to work so next time I go up there I'm effed lol

On another note, I noticed with the Rom before 3.0 gmail had an update where they kinda optimized the look of gmail app, for instance the reply button was on the top right instead of the bottom of the email, any chance we can get that back?

I had been trying to update my PRI before finally giving up after several hours. I'm still at 1.34_003 at the moment. However, I just had an instance where my phone wouldn't send a text message while roaming. I didn't try to make a call though. My phone was actually stuck in roaming in an area where I should have coverage. I rebooted the phone, it found coverage, and then I sent the text message just fine...

I wonder if that is related to the 1.40 call while roaming issue?

If u want the pri update to work what i did was this.. I downloaded the sprint lovers rom and from their i hacked in n updated it... Hope that works for u.
