As your issue is not OMJ ROM related you should prolly post up in Fast's thread if you need any more help. The guys in that thread are pretty cool

Well if it's not "officially" in your area then I personally wouldn't be surprised if the signal isnt strong or not working 100%. There has GOT to be some testing in the area as they prep the "official" release. I doubt they'd just flip the switch and be like "OK, enjoy!"
Yeah I think I'll just reroot using fasts method. Thanks

Re: OMJ's HTC EVO 2.1 Custom ROM v1.9 | Eclair | *Updated | 7/23/10*

Noob question:

If I do a ROM Manager Backup and use the data.img to restore my info will it work just the same as a nandroid backup data.img???

I've been doing quite a few backups and it's eating up my measly 8gb SD card... If ROM manager is just as good and it works from within the phone, id rather stick with it.

Thanks..

Here's another GUESS-if it's only happening in your office and no where else around town then it could just be something in your building triggering a false positive.

THERE ARE GHOSTS IN THE BUILDING EeeVvviiiiLllLL Ghosts.... They Taunt me with FAKE 4G signals.. That's just NOT COOL.. NOT COOL at all...

I kinda figured that, but wanted to double/triple and maybe quadruple check before I keep tinkering with my phone and have no way to trace back my bread crumbs....

Thanks..

How many of your old backups are you saving?

Well, you left off one critical piece of information. ...WTH is your BATTERY level?

Only if you want to lose root, possibly forever. Wait for it to be rooted.
