You can fix the insufficient storage error by flashing the ROM again. Sometimes just booting into recovery and rebooting from there fixes it also. Not sure why.

I am stock unrooted now with the new OTA update, is the toast rooting procedure ok to use, or we have to wait for something new? TIA

Wait for something new. There's a small chance you could flash the stock unrooted ROM that is pre-the FIRST OTA but I haven't seen anyone have any luck with that. Follow any of the root threads to see if there is any development along those lines.

Re: OMJ's HTC EVO 2.1 Custom ROM v1.6 | Eclair | *Updated | 6/30/10*

Newbie here, thanks to everyone out there for all this work. I'm enthusiastic to have my new EVO and to find so much interest in it. I just installed OMJ's ROM then the wimax update. But I think I've lost my 4G access here in Houston. I can see the scanning in search of it but nothing found. Any ideas?

It seems like there is still screen lag with this Rom. Does v1.6 have the kernel from the OTA update?
I found the Kernel from the update at http://forum.sdx-developers.com/deve...in-update-zip/ If this Rom does not have the new kernel in it can I add this one to my phone? Is the kernel used in this Rom modified in any way?

He removed it because users of this ROM who were developers wanted their adds to be seen. I agree with the decision though. Ads are what keep our system running, and the white bar where adfree "blocks" the add is ugly anyway
