I've been running OMJ's EVO 2.2 FroYo v4.0 Deodexed w/ Stock Kernel since it's release. I'm interested in moving to a kernel that has built-in CIFS support for Windows file sharing. Any suggestions?

Or, how can I get CIFS support (cifs.ko) file for the 2.6.32.15-g59b9e50 kernel?

Is anyone else having radio issues after applying the recommended radio updates? My voice and data randomly stop working. I try putting the phone in airplane mode to bounce the services, but something the phone fails to disable the radio. I'm forced to reboot the phone.

Can we revert back to a stock radio rom?

I have my own EVO on this ROM since July and I went through all the satges and upgrades and I really like it. Now I bought one for my wife. I'm planning to FLASH it to, but I'm no longer sure what is the procedure- do I have to root it first using new procedure? Then FLASH 1.9? or 1.7? and only then 4.0?

You will need to root first look at hboout on phone if its 2.02 version you can not use unrevoked on it. There is a thead on XDA about steps on rooting. Then you can go right to 4.0 if you wish not stops between with other versions/

My screen likes to stay on. It will dim a little but never turn off. I have it set to two minutes which is not working. Could anything else be causing this?

Mine does this after Titanium Backup runs an auto-backup at night. Once I reboot it is OK, but until then, it dims but never actually turns off altogether.
