Hey Buddy,

Can't hardly wait to jump in on this!!! Keeping up with the thread and don't even have one yet :( ... went by Sprint and BB today to see if I could get anything worked out since my upgrade isn't until October but no luck... ya know other than "you can pay full price" GRRRRR!!!! I WANT EVO!!!

the only way to flash roms is to use toastch method, which is not the easy way. the other method will only give you the wifi access you need.

I should have a update out tomorrow that includes the OTA updates & latest radio.

First off happy to see you developing for the Evo OMJ. Second any chance of a little update to the first post? My main concern is if everything is working "so far" I understand its a beta so who knows if bugs will be found. Third keep up the good work.

And finally everyone click our only Evo cook so far's thank you button :P

yeah I'm gonna drop the beta, everything for the most part id working good. I'll update post 1 tomorrow

it has root/superuser

tomorrows update will have the latest wifi tether, a few other apps, the OTA updates, the latest radio, and the Sprint crap removed :D

OMJ your the man. Thanks for all your time and effort in this. It was a b!tch trying to do the root and flash the rom. But with a little effort it all works great. I even used the link you posted and have wifi tether working. I was able to flash your radio to improve wifi signal. No 4g in my area to test. But so far everything has been 100% for me.

Keep up the good work. When you release your new rom will we he to wipe out all our settings, downloads and have to start over with the new rom?

Sorry if I sound like a newb. I am an old time ppc usergoing back to the old apache, mogul, touch, diamond, tp and tp2.
