yes....the apps that I added were placed in \data\app & can be uninstalled easily. Depending on the response on the Sprint apps being removed, I may put them there also, for easy removal.

re: Sprint apps- I always say- Choice is good!
If we can have the option to delete ourselves that'd be killer. Personally I'd only keep Sprint Navigation but thats just me.

ok...Im back to being a total nOOb... I used Unrevoked to root? my device so i could install wifi tethering. Does this mean Im rooted? If so how to I install this custom rom ?

The Unrevoked root wont allow you to flash custom roms. May I recomend...

Also if your phone was updated you can downgrade

theres only one unrevoked file and you install it and become a super user

I don't think you're following correctly. if you install the unrevoked root, that is not a real root, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO FLASH ROMS, if anybody wants to flash custom roms they have to use toastch method to root their phones.

I am a total n00b here but i can assure you the OTA update does not block rooting i applied the update used unrevoked and realized unrevoked is not as good as toasts method so i uninstalled unrevoked and applied toasts method. Everything is fine i was able to use recovery and flash OMJ's beta.:headbang:
