yeah, apps in \system\apps cannot be uninstalled via manage applications, you'll either have to use a program lioke root explorer or root manager or use adb (you'll have to search for the process).

as far as battery life, I am using the stock kernel from the 3.70 RUU, the battery life does not seem bad to me....

The same thing happened to me. I just did a nandroid restore then reflashed the OMJ rom. I don't know if there is an easier method but that's what I did

I should have mentioned this in the post, which has been edited now. You should wipe Dalvik-Cache before flashing the 4-in-1 Boot Menu .zip, and any framework mod/fix you flash.

I got myself in the habit of wiping Dalvik-Cache before I flash any mod/fix to help avoid issues. It takes the phone a little longer to boot after the flash, but in the long run it's worth that minute wait.

thanks.....how did you try to uninstall? They should uninstall just like any other app. I may move those apps to \data\app to make it easier to uninstall in future releases.

Saw you covered this in a later post. I tried out the Blockbuster and Nova apps. Nova was ok for a day, and Blockbuster just seems to be a fail in my opinion. I removed them from the ROM prior to a second flash.

I was gonna ask... I always tweak your ROMs before I flash them. Always worked flawlessly. This time for some reason after I changed some .apks and a few other mods, the ROM didn't want to flash. Did the same thing I've always done. Ended up just flashing the original ROM and created my own patch .zip that I flashed immediately after flashing the ROM and it worked great.

So...just curious, did you use a different kitchen or method on this ROM?

For those who don't want to wait for updates...here is one.

This is the framework-res.apk from the stock 3.70 build. I updated it with the icons from OMJs 4.0 ROM. Will restore the % clock and change the notification tray background. Notification tray will not be transparent however due to the fact it requires an edit to the services.jar framework file. I'm waiting to update that until Calkulin posts his update for that file for the Disable USB Debugging Notification fix.

Anyway, for those who want the % clock, here is a flashable .zip.

Let me just first say that I'm still learning. I flashed this and then it went into a "4G Sprint boot loop". Does this mean my phone won't work with zip? I appreciate any help.

Edit: I did a full wipe and dalvick-cache. I was succesfull at flashing the 4-1 reboot zip.

I did use the latest kitchen, not sure if that's it though. ROM was cooked like I usually do it...

it's probably a signing issue, but not sure why it's always worked for u b4 & not now...

I assume you updated the framework....did u do this on past roms too?

you could do a logcat to see what error is causing the issue.

Is there an option for when I unplug the phone the screen does not turn on? When I take my phone off the charger I usually put it in my pocket and don't need it to be on.

Kinda, sorta.
Its the lockscreen apk that is waking our phones when we unplug them.
So the only "solution" I know of is to go with the Vanilla Lockscreen.

You can manually delete htclockscreen.apk from system/app or flash calks mod which will do it for you.
http://www.mediafire.com/file/74hlh7...Lockscreen.zip
Personally I prefer the Vanilla lock.

The issue with the Vanilla lock is the fact that we can not use the Sense alarmclock. You can still use the Sense clocks as normal, just the alarm is affected (cant turn it off once it sounds)
Any third party alarm will do. If you flash calks zip it will erase the lockscreen apk for you but it will also install the AOSP clock of which, the alarm works fine.
