I have used wireless tether on 4G before. I know this because I was able to talk on the phone and surf the internet on my computer. Has something changed?

Hey...

Anyone having boot loops going from 3.5 to 3.6?

I just dl'ed 3.6...went into recovery, wiped cache and Davlik, flashed from SD and got stuck on the loading animation over and over again.

I'm going to redownload 3.6 and then try it again, but anyone else have problems?

Ok...now tried to go back to 3.5 and it appears worse. I get into a loop with "Sorry! the application HTC Sense (process com.htc.launcher) had stopped running unexpectedly. Please try again."

I have to FC the window but it just keeps popping up endlessly.

What to do? Thanks for any replies.

EDIT: Now it's doing the Sprint Boot screen over and over again like last time...

What recovery are you running?
I would do a FULL wipe-data, cache, dalvik and try again.

How did you try to get back to 3.5? A reflash or a nand restore?

i try but i'am on metropcs and i can only browse the market it does not let me download the files or apps unless anyone knows a trick lol
how to get it to d load it just says downloading but it never starts
i was told i can only browse lol:scratch::scratch::scratch:

You dont need any apps for wired tethering. Calks USB tether mod is cooked in. Just choose USB tethering under Connection type where you select Charge only or Disk Drive.

Hmm...I might have jacked something up here...Here's the whole story...

I went to 3.6 (as in the first post) and it went into a loop.
I took the battery out and started up in recovery mode and wiped cache and dalvik and then loaded 3.5 from the zip on my sd card.
It went into another boot loop...first giving me a bunch of FC windows and then going into the Sprint logo 4g bootscreen over and over again.
I took out the battery and rebooted into recovery.
I wiped dalvik and cache again and then did a NAND restore.
Then I flashed 3.5 again from the SD.
Now it loads back up, but just about all of my apps FC.

Appbrain FC's, Dolphin HD FC's...
And even worse...I tried a Titanium restore to get my stuff back, including contacts and texts and it "could not parse package" for many of the apps it was trying to restore...

Ugh..I F'ed-myself here.

Help appreciated if you can...

Give this a try
Format ALL - Format's boot, cache, data & system partitions ( flash like rom)
then flash rom

and for Titanium did you try the problems button it will update your busybox

To answer my earlier post, I still can't get tethering to work using either app..any help?
