The EPST codes dont work atm on Froyo.
Download the app Network from the Market.
It will allow you to set the preferred network type

I bought several cheap cables on ebay, and they all worked fine before the froyo upgrade. When it wouldn't charge today, I tried several of them and had the same result. So naturally I didn't think the cable was the problem. But now I have tried 2 other USB cables (different types than the cheap ones I bought) and they both work.

Be careful with cheap cables on ebay folks, you get what you pay for I guess.
Great to hear I was banging my head on the table trying to reproduce your issue so I am glad it has been resolved

Attn Theme Junkies:
konikub is hard at work updating ALL his themes to Froyo and creating new ones
The only issue posted (and that I've found) is Gallery FC's. He is on it trying to track down the bug.
In the meantime if you NEED to get your theme on then just install this app and your can view your photos (posted in his thread and linked here for convenience)
Gallery_Andrizoid.apk
I havent found a way to make it the default but it's no biggie for me.
I'm sure OMJ will wait for the issue to be fixed before cooking.

***Warining-This is an issue with a theme NOT OMJ's ROM! If I see any "I heard there were issues with the Gallery in this ROM" posts I will find you and administer a Purple Nurple from hell
You've been warned.********

Android is set by default to first search for a GSM signal then goes to CDMA.
When you set your network type you bypass that GSM search, saving some battery juice.
You want to set it to CDMA auto (PRL)
When you run Network it will say that by default.
In Eclair it was reported to be a visual glitch and it was really set to GSM. It was advised to switch it anyway.
I do not know if it was fixed for Froyo.
So I set it to something else, exited Network, then went back in to change it back-just in case.
This is a setting that does not stick (on Eclair) so it needs to be reapplied after a reboot.
This info has been garnered via a lot of reading I do not claim to be a Preferred Network Type expert

EDIT: I read a recommendation to update your PRL after completing this step.

Sprint football app working...used the football app from what OMJ gave us (separate of the rom) loaded and then it prompted for an update...ok the update and let it load...make sure wifi is off and 4g is off.. Put in airplane mode and then turn airplane mode back off..now launch the NFL app and you should be good to go..
